Got a cortado from the George Howell part of Clover and it was excellent!! Their espresso is one of the best espressos I've ever tasted.

Oof not a great experience today. I use to work at this location as the barista and the food was terrific had to hold back and only eat it once a week. I’ve only been back two or three times since then but it seems like the quality has taken a nosedive. I order the bridgewater which I have fond memories of. Today was hands down the worst sandwich I’ve ever had anywhere. The mushrooms were really mushy there was one onion in the onion and kale which was not prepared correctly and completely lacked the honey sriracha, on top of that instead of the cream cheese spread they just loaded it up with an obnoxiously gross amount of mayonnaise there was literally a huge goop of maya at the bottom of the pita. In addition the fries were overcooked cold and there was a small handful (in the past they would load you up). Honestly glad I’ve only been back a few times and not wasted more money here. They need to get back to the standard Kevin set.

The last two times I got takeout from Clover in Newtonville, the portions were noticeably much smaller than in the past. The second time I was curious enough about it that I brought the sandwich and fries home, weighed them, and compared the results to the advertised serving sizes in their app. The sandwich was 9% short, and the fries were *** 31% short ***.I emailed Clover twice and asked what was going on. I know they received my emails because I got back auto-responses telling me they had received them and would respond in 5-7 days. They never responded either time.I suspect that they are cutting portion sizes as a cost-cutting move (they are in chapter 11 bankruptcy right now). It's deceptive to be advertising serving sizes that are significantly larger than reality. It's kind of rude to reduce serving sizes without being proactively transparent about it; Clover certainly wouldn't be the first company to do that, but it does seem to go against their claimed culture. And it's _really_ rude not to respond to customer emails asking why their serving sizes seem much smaller.

Horrified to see mice running around the place. When I told the manager she said the building has a problem with mice. Everyone does unacceptable and so unsanitary.

One would think that a vegetarian place would scream that from the outside. I didn’t know until I was inside figuring the menu. I ordered and went to pay and there was an employee playing with the money. They said can you please use a card to pay? The employees treated the place like a hang out. Very unprofessional. The place is beautiful but everything is in different places. Just overall not good.Vegetarian options: Not great. The same 3 soups daily. Try changing it up. Not good overall

I went there to meet a friend for coffee and had horrible service. I wasn't sure where to order the coffee because it's not near the area where you order but in another corner with nobody present. The manager was not friendly or helpful, rather ordered to go stand near the area where I order food and someone would help me when they were ready. I took someone else's coffee by accident, and the manager seemed very angry. He came and let me know, and when I offered to return the coffee, he told me that he would just bring me another one. He came angrily, and put the other down on the table and said nothing to me, despite me apologzing. When I left, I said "goodbye" and waived, nobody was around and he ignored me and just seemed extremely angry. I wrote to the company email and it's been over two weeks and there has been no response.

Stopped by the place for lunch with family. It was clear the place was severely understaffed. Tables were all dirty. Bathroom was dirty with no toilet papers. Coffee station was dirty. The gentleman serving food had 10 labels printed in front of him trying to match food to them and was severely stressed and would ask the long line of customers waiting for food to back off. When my turn came he put the food in paper bag went got the fries and literally dumped the basket of fries on top of the food and moved on to the next order. The owner whoever s/he is should be ashamed for letting his/her employees work long hours while severely understaffed.Food didn’t seem fresh either.

Impossible to eat their sandwich, but damn it’s good! And don’t forget to get a coffee on your way out because it’s one of the best in the area.

LOVE the hummus and rainbow carrots, tomato soup, rosemary fries and cannot to try new things. Love the fresh seltzers and that there are choices from no sugar (rosemary lemon, yum!) to some sugared ones. The folks like Adam are really nice at this location!

Im super bummed that I come to this location almost every day and 20 minutes before breakfast ends they have no oatmeal or eggs. When I come at night, there’s never a full menu - they’re always out of eggplant which stinks ☹️. I was so happy when this location opened but it seems like resupply isn’t matching the demand for what’s needed to run a flush shift. Everyone is super friendly but they’re always out of things. I come every day and would love to keep supporting but pleaaaase increase your resupply signed a pregnant CLOVER CRAVING WART ?
