What a nice surprise, this place is without any doubts the best and more authentic Italian place in the Boston area. As starter we took rice supplì, focaccia, arrosticini and funghi marinati. With the supplì I felt to be back in Rome.As main dish we took the squid ink tonnarelli alle vongole, mamma mia! I felt to be in a summer night in my Sicily eating in front of the sea.Lastly as dessert we took the housemade gelato and the tiramisu, both were fantastic.Worth to mention the blood orange gelato, third time during the dinner that I felt I was back in Italy.Definitely I will come back, super recommended!

Great atmosphere. Food was very good. Great selection of wines, beers, and Amaro!! Waitstaff was very good but could have been a bit more attentive to empty drink glasses and may have missed an opportunity for me to have an extra but other than that- would highly recommend and revisit.

This (used to be) one of our favorite restaurants. Last night's meal was a disappointment. The calamari was excellent, as usual, but our caesar salad never made it to our table, and the pizza was pretty cold, obviously having stood a while before delivery, and was greasy. The waitress never came over to check on us, even though she was in the vicinity, and seemed unconcerned to annoyed when we politely told her to take the charge for the salad off the tab. No apology was offered for her mistake. This was in great contrast to our prior delightful experiences. Maybe we'd come again, but only at the bar where we would get attention; maybe not even.

The server seemed inexperienced and we felt a bit rushed. He gave me the wrong meal (the squid ink pasta undead of the octopus) so my food came late. My son's Shirley Temple came at least 15 minutes before our bar drinks and instead of our pizza getting wrapped up we got someone else's but didn't know until we got home.

Service was very attentive, though there was a lot of upselling by our server which was mildly annoying. winter salad was very tasty, not too much dressing, and nice original combination. Carbonara was a disappointment. VERY salty and way too cheesy (and I love cheese!). Ravioli got good reviews but also a too salty mention. Disappointed with $14 glass of wine that was like miniature. Either get. Smaller glasses or provide a real pour for that much money. Noise level and acoustics is primarily what would keep me from returning. We were there on a Monday night and place was busy but not full. Between the music, the other patrons and the uncovered floors and tables we could barely have a conversation. I would try the pizza for take out but don't need to return to the restaurant, maybe the pizza is not so salty? Not a bad experience by any means but probably would not return if given a choice.

We had an amazing dinner at Da LaPosta. A friend had recommended them a while ago and we finally got around to trying it. The food was great and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back soon.

This is our first time dining here and we thought the food was terrific! Ravioli was excellent as was their specially sausage pizza (whose name escapes me). Menu is a bit hard to follow unless, perhaps, you are a foodie. I had to look up several of the ingredients. It was also a bit loud. That said, our server was very good and, as noted, we very much enjoyed our meals. We enjoyed our cocktails as well.

Had a great experience here. Service was good. Went with a group of 4 and we each got pizza. Flavors were incredible, one of our pizzas was very thin and a bit too crispy for our liking(had heavy charred spots) but overall everything else was really good! Still worth giving the 5 stars.

All was good but the pizza could be better. They have a beautiful pizza oven. The chicken Parm was very good too? They ran out of calamari so that was a bummer as you can find them everywhere in Massachusetts. Overall good food!

Excellent suppli in the Roman style and excellent rocotta with orange honey. Well made pizza with generous prosciutto. Very good wine list and unparalleled amaro list. Joseph, our server, was very knowledgeable. Perhaps a bit of a noisy environment at peak, but highly recommended.

The potato pizza is really delicious! My friend was skeptical and was immediately converted. The winter citrus salad was a great course. The service was attentive and unobtrusive. It was so nice to bring someone new to try da la Posta.

Originally made a 5:30pm RSVP a little over a week in advance. The day of, we decided to move our RSVP up to 4:45 for an earlier time in hopes of avoiding dinner rush. We arrived and were seated, at the time we seated, were the ONLY table. There was a party of 3 seated at the bar, that was it. The servers sat at the other end of the bar eating while we sat at our table waiting for the server to come and finally take our order. We placed our order for food and drinks before any other customers came in to be seated. By 5:20pm, a party of 7 whom came in after us were seated and all had drinks at their table. Another table of 3 that also arrived after us had been sat and were receiving their drinks. We still had not received either of our drinks nor an appetizer despite how busy the kitchen looked. The front staff completely ignored us when we tried flagging someone down to inquire about the situation. One of the waitress actually came over to the table after see us try to flag someone down. She went and talked to our waiter but it didn’t matter because at that point I was putting on my jacket and purse, preparing to walk out.I don’t know if racism played a factor in the poor service. However from what I observed, we were the only black and asian customers, while all the other tables were white, so yea there’s that.

Consistently delicious. The citrus salad was a bright spot in a wintery night. The citrus bursts were a nice contrast to the greens and the dressing. We ordered a margarita pizza and it was wonderful. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable and efficient. Another lovely evening at da la Posta.
