Food was fresh and delicious and the staff was very attentive. Look forward to returning!
¡¡La arepa pabellon que delicia!! Very attentive service very helpful and they have special meals as well. I came in for the arepas and they did not disappoint. They have empanadas as well. A very generous portion of ingredients inside the arepa. It is in a great location with meter parking lot behind the establishment. I cant wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!
The Venezuelan Sampler is where it's at! I couldn’t decide on what I wanted so that was perfect. The meat is a little salty but it was actually balanced out nicely by the sweetness of the patacon and cachapa. I also really liked the textures of the empanada and the arepa.
Since working around Newton for the last 5 years, finding & having a place like Ellanas nearby is like hitting the jackpot. Their food is so fresh and reliably excellent. Even better than that is their staff! These people really treat you like family and are so accommodating and kind. I cannot rave about this place to people enough. Thanks Ellanas for being so awesome!
This Place is great- we loved everything we got.Arepas, falafel, soup - all crazy delicious. Can’t wait to go back. Miguel Was so nice and inviting- sharing recipes and tases of their soup. A hidden gem!
We had the beef arepa and beef cachapa, both really good, but the beef arepa with plantain in it was the star dish. Tequeños were also really good.
Amazing food!! We had the domino (bean & cheese) empanada, roasted veggie arepa, perico breakfast with a cheese arepa and side of plantains, and it was all incredibly delicious!! Really filling for a good price too ??
Great service. Delicious Food. Friendly and attentive.
This place is amazing. My Colombian boyfriend approves. We got some empanadas and arepas and they were absolutely delectable. The tequeños were also delicious. And I’m in love with the mild green sauce– I need to learn how to make it. Service was friendly and very quick. Will absolutely be stopping by again.
Great food and very good service. We tried a variety of dishes and they were all very good. The restaurant is small so it felt a bit crowded but not too bad. We were able to get a table around lunch time. I liked that the beef empanadas used shredded beef instead of grounded beef. It gave it more flavor and better texture.

great food and people. Cozy small town atmosphere .
The food here was totally awesome! Everything is made fresh at the restaurant daily, which makes the taste even better. The owners are hands on, and are very courteous and friendly. If you like this kind of food, you can’t go wrong. Enjoy!
Great food and customer service!
While visiting Boston we found this amazing Venezuelan Food Restaurant. Everything was delicious just authentic homemade food and the owners were very nice!!! 100% recommended
Ellana’s Kitchen is, without a doubt, the top hidden gem in Newton Centre. My wife and I have been huge fans since we discovered them. Excellent authentic Venezuelan food at a super reasonable price. Our favorite thing to order is the Pabellon Arepa (it’s out of this world). If you’re in the area, skip the overpriced mediocre quality Newton eateries and try this spot! Trust me, it will not disappoint. Re bien hecho Ellana’s Kitchen!Note: Ask for extra “Isa’s Not-Hot Green Sauce”, you’ll want to drink it straight?
