We are HUGE fans of Fuji. Their service is FANTASTIC (many many thanks to Mirin, especially). The food is delicious. All the staff helpful and friendly. Fast service, even when they are CRAZY busy with both dine-in and take-out orders.

Last Saturday evening we had dinner at Fuji and an hour later experienced both symptoms associated with food poisoning. We called Fuji that evening and the women took all the info and indicated that the manager would be notified. We hoped they'd call that night to ensure the dishes in question would be evaluated. The next morning a managed called to apologize and ask which ingredient(s) might have been the culprit. As I'm writing this 5 days later the effects are still lingering mildly. The Newton health department was notified.

One of the best restaurants I have been to in Boston. Eddie gave some of the best service I have ever had - he should get a raise. We will 100% be back again. The Walnut Street maki is a must try.

Great place to grab dinner with friends or family! Our server was super helpful in helping us decide what to get, and his recommendations were great! I absolutely loved their tofu, especially the spicy garlic pieces on top. Sushi and drinks were also great as well

OVERPRICED for what it was. BEWARE the high ratings, I felt pretty deceived. They offer a $20 gift card for reviews at the end of service. Writing this to save others the trip and the $$ spent.
Here is my honest review:
Food was fusion. We ordered the clay pot pork and the chirashi bowl - clay pot pork was oily though the flavor was good, it was not really a clay pot as it was cooked outside and poured into one. It was lacking the charred rice on the sides that we claypot lovers seek the chase. The chirashi bowl had fresh slices of fish, but was doused in a teriyaki like sweet sauce that I wasn't aware about prior and honestly took away from the bowl. We also ordered the spicy tuna lettuce wrap apps, this was really outlandish for us, was $15 for two tablepoons of tuna essentially in two leafs of lettuce. Flavor was overall tasty but I honestly think it was not worth the price. Entire meal with tip was $90.
Great food, very accommodating with allergies. Jackson was our server and was great!

My friends and I did an omakase dinner experience at the Newton location to celebrate our friend's 50th birthday and they knocked it out of the park. The staff was wonderful. Extra kudos to the Manager Brendon and Chef Ming. During the booking, Brendon was so helpful explaining our options and accommodating our dietary needs. Chef Ming designed a fabulous menu with an amazing variety. The drink pairing option was also a great add on to enhance the experience. We had a great time and would absolutely do this again. Thank you to the amazing team ar Fuji!!!
