We had the pleasure of meeting Grandma, Andy and Lynn (her family and front of house). The food was amazing and truly authentic Taiwanese fare. After our meal, grandma came out of the kitchen to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Meeting her and her family, sharing stories of Taiwan together, was truly the highlight of our evening! Love this place! It’s a small family run neighborhood spot with delicious food and great service. They always make us feel right at home.
Very limited seating but roomy! We arrived at 6:30 on a Friday and the wait for a table for 4 is 1 hr. We had to resort to takeout. Taiwanese food comparing to their competition near Oak Street is limited as well.

The food is absolutely delicious and the staff very friendly! We got there at 5:30pm on Sunday and they were only available for takeout unfortunately because they’re closing. Highly recommend the popcorn chicken!

Grandma’s Kitchen is an absolute gem! The braised beef noodle soup is worth driving long distances for. The spice, acidity, and umami flavors are perfectly balanced in a delicious broth. The noodles are cooked al dente and the beef is tender and flavorful.The popcorn chicken is also a highlight—perfectly seasoned, crispy, and flavorful.The service is very fast and friendly, and it’s cool to catch a glimpse of Grandma cooking in the kitchen!Will be back many many more times, regularly!

One of the best restaurants in the greater Boston area!! Food is absolutely amazing and comes out quick. All of the staff are so kind! Been coming here for almost a year and the food never disappoints. Highly recommend the popcorn chicken and taro coconut mini tapioca! Tables move fast and it’s always worth the wait!
The wait here is too long. They should add more tables as there is plenty of space for it. I have friends in the restaurant industry and nobody actually goes by the exact capacity allowed.They should also try to turn the tables over faster as people were done eating but was just sitting there chatting.
