Simple, affordable, no-nonsense, delicious food.I feel I could happily eat the meatballs here everyday for the rest of my life. Just like mother makes, if not better (between you and me).
There was a version of the Lake that had a much different flavor 30 years ago. It was an Italian enclave, with a history that is very much different than the rest of Newton. Nonantum, or "The Lake," was the village with the oldest synagogue.
