A small, unassuming shop with dishes full of flavor. The beef noodle soup and scallion pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever had. Great service, too. Would definitely come back.
I can’t stop thinking about the beef noodle soup, it might be the best I’ve ever had. So flavorful, the meat was perfection (thick, soft, the melty more fatty parts were the perfect soft chewy texture), noodles and boi choy cooked perfectly.
Also had the ginger tofu custard which also was amazing. This place seems super authentic. I also like the homey cozy vibe, 100% would return here to try more dishes, the quality of the food was so good!
I was disappointed for the first time at Jean and Lee Kitchen yesterday. I have been there maybe a dozen times over the years. Yesterday (Sunday) I arrived close to 3pm. I ordered hot and sour soup and Ma Po tofu. The soup came out very quickly but was nearly cold. I had barely taken a bite when one of the staff (not the one who brought it out) asked if it was cold, and when I said it was they immediately took it back, and came back in a bit with a hot bowl. I'm not sure what transpired in the conversation (maybe they had turned off the pot on the stove and the server didn't know?), but it was not ideal. The warmed soup was too salty, but otherwise fine.
The ma po tofu was honestly not great. Soupy consistency, and an oddly tomato-y flavor. It was not oily (a common problem with ma po tofu), but it was pretty mediocre.
I'm bummed - I have had many good meals here before; I'm hoping the chef was out, and I caught them between meals, and this was a fluke. The staff was at least very nice and checked in often.
Great small family run place to takeaway delicious Chinese food. We’ve also eaten there a couple of times but the takeaway experience is better.
Soup dumplings, beef noodle soup and just about everything else is amazing - though the pork ribs haven’t been particularly good..which was disappointing but the fact that so many others are great makes up for this.
Limited parking in the establishment as such.
Small , simple place makes good food. Not fancy, but tastes good. I’m vegetarian and I had the Fried Tofu with Chinese Eggplant. Excellent, with a rich brown sauce, ginger, and garlic.
The interior is simple, well lit, clean. Woman who works the register is a bit abrupt but she’s efficient.
Great place for takeout. Simple restaurant food inside.
Don't come for lunch if you are looking to sit. Me and my husband wanted to try this restaurant for lunch and with only 3 people in the room, let us know that there were not enough room for us 2 and we needed to take out.
I love love love their food!! We usually do takeout and it's always sooo delicious, whatever we get. I can't do onions and garlic, and they're always so accommodating and kind about it!! And there's so many of their menu items that they can flex to make onion and garlic free. The women I often see (I think she's the owner?) is sassy and funny, and she's so kind with my kids (even when they're not behaving the best...). A++ this is our go-to Chinese food joint

Came here on a whim, looking for Asian food. I was greeted by the two young energetic girls working up front, and was sat down. Food can be a little pricey, but well worth it! I got the beef noodle soup, and the sichuan spicy flounder. Both were freshly made and yummy! Will be coming back again :)

We went to Jean and Lee Kitchen because we failed to make a reservation at a nearby Italian restaurant. How lucky were we!! The food at Jean and Lee was absolutely delicious. The menu is varied but not overwhelming. We ordered the Seafood Udon Noodle Soup, 3 Cup Fried Tofu with Japanese Eggplant, and Salt & Pepper Calamari. The portions were generous and the flavors perfectly blended. We will be back. There are a host of dishes we can't wait to try.

An excellent home style experience with fresh vegetables and seafood well
prepared. Don't expect a fancy dining room, do expect a family establishment that prides itself on excellent food. Seafood noodle soup and home style eggplant and tofu were outstanding.

Avoid soup dumplings. Beef noodle soup was great. Place feels a bit uncomfortable

I should've turned around and left the place when I saw there was no customer. This place used to be one of my favorite places. It looks like it is under a new ownership. Food is so so. Price is way too expensive for the food. There is not much to talk about the atmosphere.

Really tasty food, especially the dim sum options on weekends. Good service. Water served in paper cups. You need to get the waiter's attention if you need something, but at least if you're seated on the bottom floor they're right there.
Parking: Parking lot attached to the storefront. I think it's free.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp up from the parking lot and seating on the first floor, doorways aren't super wide, so if you have a larger chair take caution.
