I have been ordering Thanksgiving dinner for the past 5-6 years at Judith's Kitchen. It is absolutely outstanding!
The turkey is very tender and juicy so that even the leftover meat after Thanksgiving, was delicious. Their entire side dishes are fantastic. ( Yes, I have tried all of them. )
From their famous kale salad, to incredible wild rice and to flavorful cranberry sauce..
Btw, my favorite is the traditional mushroom bread stuffing which is surreal..
Everything is just perfectly balanced and beautifully cooked.
I am very excited and looking forward to this year's Thanksgiving dinner at Judith's Kitchen!

Love Judith’s Kitchen. Very friendly folks. Delicious coffee and pastries. I often go there for coffee to meet friends. And the nice thing is that I can then pick up some of their great take out for dinner. They have a great variety of take outs salads, chicken curry, sllmon. Love having them in West Newton.

My work company ordered one of their boxed lunches, and I chose the Caprese sandwich and potato salad.
+Potato salad was tasty, was cold and refreshing with what I assume was sourcream
-However did not love the Caprese. While I know it might've not been the freshest (since it was boxed) I felt that the ingredients themselves weren't the highest of quality. To also consider the actual price was $12, that felt mildly overpriced for the lacking quality of ingredients. The baguette bread was solid, and I don't have much to say for the vegetables (tomato/lettuce) since I know they may not be in season so I can't have too high of expectations (to also say they were a little flavorless.) But here are a few gripes I have with the sandwich: Firstly, the mozzarella wasn't the ideal high-quality (hydrated type) mozzarella, it was rather dry and almost a little crumbly. Secondly, using pesto instead of fresh basil just felt a little cheap . Thirdly, a class caprese has vinaigrette and this sandwich for sure did not have it, which really was a bummer! I do understand that that's what it says on the menu so I'm not accusing the place to lie, it just wasn't $12 delicious.

I wish they had more veg options which was why I chose their caprese (almost all their other sandwhiches have meat), so it was a little disappointing nonetheless.

But to close it off positive again, they're bakery sweets are solid and are very big and generous.

But all I'll say, if you want a Caprese Sweet Tomatoes across the block knows where it's at...

I was settling myself to order something, deciding what I wanted, and I plugged my phone in. Within minutes, à man came up to me and said “what can I get you?” i expressed that I didn’t have the money at the time and before I could explain that I was in the process of accessing my money, he rudely snaps, “you cannot charge up in my store for free.”
He did not give me the chance to finish my sentence before assuming I was freeloading.
If you believe this to be an open cafe for all, do not fool yourself.

Loved this spot! Was in town for work and visited Judith's for lunch twice. The sandwiches are great—I had the Italian and the chicken BLT. The honey, lemon, ginger iced tea is delightful—lots of other great drink options as well. Cute local spot with super friendly folks.

They have Harney and sons Tea, really delicious sandwiches, vegan, and normal cookies and treats, and lots of items in their deli case.

My sandwich was absolutely delicious with a generous amount of tuna.

The tea was tasty. The cookie was great

The only thing I did not like and ended up throwing out was the cucumber salad. It tasted rotten.

There is handicap parking directly out front, and everyone was super friendly.

I like the curried chicken wrap with pickles, onions, and spinach.

You have to ask for anything other than lettuce and tomatoes, or any other kind of wrap other than plain. They have options, but for some reason they don't mention them when you order.

Excellent chocolate muffins, not too sweet. 😋 coffe is typical

We struggled to find somewhere even relatively healthy to eat while in the area, and stumbled upon this gem. Sandwiches are made to order, and soooo good!

The website for this place is admittedly confusing, because they only really highlight their catering options. However, don’t let that stop you from heading to Newton to check this out!

Judith’s is best for lunch. They have an extensive sandwich menu, all of which I’ve tried are delicious. You can choose from their pre-designed suggestions or make your own. They also have a delightful glass case with fresh vegetable and pasta salad options.

If you’re looking for breakfast, you can find it here but the options are much more limited. They have a few pre-made egg-based wraps and sandwiches. The coffee and tea menu is basic, they have lattes and some nicer tea selections but nothing too wild.

They have a nice cookie, chip, and wine selection here. This is right off the highway, so truthfully it’s one of my favorite places to stop when I’m heading on a trip out of Boston and looking for something to eat on the way or a place to meet people if I’m picking anyone up.

Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options! You can do build your own sandwiches, so the options are limitless. They also have vegetable and pasta based salads in their cold case.

Parking: In the morning, it’s easy to find parking but in the afternoon and evening or on weekends it can be a bit tricky. There’s a paid lot diagonally across the street from them and some paid spots in front and around the corner.
