Little Big Diner serves up a symphony of flavors in their spicy tan tan ramen. By swapping chili ground pork for the decadent chashu pork, akin to pork belly, they’ve elevated the dish to a celestial level. The cloudy, flavorful broth dances on your taste buds, while the melt-in-your-mouth pork and perfectly balanced noodles complete the gastronomic masterpiece. For a taste of the best ramen Boston has to offer, Little Big Diner is a must-visit culinary oasis.

I got the Shoyu Ramen and the cold tea mixed drink. It was great. The ramen came out with the right temp. It wasn't hot enough to burn you, but it was warm enough to heat you up. Perfect ramen for those cold rainy days. The drink was great; you get to taste the tequila without the nasty after taste. I would recommend this place to anyone.Parking: There are streets parking right in front of the restaurant and across the street. There is also a parking lot next to it too.

I always see a lot of people when I pass by, but it only opens after 4:30 pm. I went there because it was raining today, and there was a small queue. The store is not big, but very compact. The service is pretty good, but the noodles taste a bit salty?

Really enjoyed dinner here. Not a lot space and it isn’t quiet but the food is good and the staff are super nice. Ramen is real solid.

Delicious ramen, great service and hefty portions. It is a bit more expensive than other ramen options but I don’t mind it because it’s yummy.

Worst ramen I've EVER had! 2 stars just because the green papaya salad and fried chicken were solid. 3 types of ramen we're ordered, all of them were inedibly flat and flavorless.

Little Big Diner was the first place that introduced me to the food scene in Newton, which is not to be overlooked as it has been poppin' lately. The overall theme with the octopus mascot is so cute and carries throughout the inner decor, the menu, and their website. Inside, there is an open kitchen where you can peek at the chefs, as well as bar seating and tables (though, the place is still small overall). There is also outside seating. The food came out fast, and my server was friendly. I ordered the LBD Flat Patty... "Hawaiian-Style Burger". The bun had a nice char on it, and the patty was tender and paired well with the sweetness of the pineapples. I actually enjoyed this dish more than the ramen and would get it again. For ramen, I ordered the Tokyo Basic Ramen. The portion size was a bit small for the price. The broth was too salty for my liking, but the chashu pork and ramen were soft.

Easily the best ramen in the Boston area, Little Big Diner provides delicious food and bold flavors in a small space. The menu changes often, so it's always exciting to see what is being offered week by week. I recommend getting there early to put your name in and then walking around Newton Centre while waiting for your table - absolutely worth the wait!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.Parking: Parking in Newton can be tricky, but at least it's free in the evenings.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, but it's a small space.
