Max and Leo's Pizza Newton

We just got a pizza from here to go, and the pizza is very burned. We have to leave for somewhere so could not return and let the staff know. This is very surprising, I’ve never had pizza from any place that is this burnt. The box smelled burnt before we opened it and the pepperonis tasted burnt. Half of this pizza is inedible.

It's tiny, but that doesn't stop them for making some of the best pizza I've ever had. We ordered The Brooksy and Lobster Beef Sauvignon Blanc. Everything was delicious and Mary gave us excellent service! Street parking can be difficult to find, but there's a parking garage on the side street.

Very rude server . I can not tell anything for pizza , it was very delicious . She spilled beer on the table , cleaned up table with very difficulty

We pre ordered pizzas for a kid's birthday party a day ahead of time. Upon arrival at the appointed time, we were first instructed to pay , and only after paying were we told the order was not actually ready. We received the pizzas 25 minutes late and never got an appology, let alone a discount , only a lame excuse about an internet malfunction and a statement about how technology was to blame. The perfect post Boston Marathon treat! We stayed at the hotel right across the street, this was perfect, its a small place and the food came out pretty quick, coal fired pizza was awesome!

The pizza crust was so crispy and delicious! There were a few burnt spots on the crust, and the toppings were evenly distributed!

I've never ever eaten Pizza like theirs. Is not very thick, not thin either, absolutely perfect and extraordinary in taste. I would recommend veggie and margarita pizzas here. It's just hand made with love, tastes like. I never knew before that pizzas can be made this much delicious. Five out of five !!!

The pizza is out of this world! So good, I highly recommend.
The crust is the perfect ratio of crispy to chewiness.
I had L’Oscar. Mushrooms I can leave or take but this pizza is the perfect canvas with sausage, caramelized onions, fresh mozz and mascarpone.

Okay this place is small and almost easy to miss if you're not paying attention. The food is amazing though. The best Pizza I have had in the greater Boston area. It's a coal fired pizza. I had the Veggie and it was just amazing. Right crust, right flavor, well done and not overly cheesy. I would go back here for the pizza any given day. Must try if you are in this area.

Absolutely fantastic. Service was stellar (Am B) Beer was COLD and and pizza was amazing. You can watch them make the pizza and there ingredients..*chefs kiss*
The pizza is more on the artisanal side but you gotta try it. Its worth the drive from Boston. Also great prices. Will definitely be back when I return to Newton!

Pizza was AMAZING. shared one between the three of us and had also ordered a bowl of salad. The server was super friendly, and the service was fast. Highly recommend :) very small space for seating though, so there was a short wait on a Saturday evening. Lots of people came for take out.

Cool east coast pizza place. Crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings were all excellent and cooked perfectly. Friendly staff. Very small and cozy inside- 5 seats at a bar-height counter on one side, 5 seats at the bar on the other, and two little tables in the corner- rest of the place is the open kitchen and coal oven.
