I've only been to the Newton location but we love this spot. Pizzas are fantastic, drink menu is not extensive but they are solid and the staff is excellent. It's a fun and easy place - satisfies basic palates and foodies!

Delicious pizza. Great flavor profile although a bit salty. They accommodated food requests admirably. Outdoor seating is plentiful but not scenic, next to a very busy road and highway. Practical but not romantic. Super friendly staff as well!

This was our first time at Mida but it certainly won't be our last! What a wonderful experience from start to finish! Personnel at the front of the house were pleasant and helpful and led us to our table right away! Our server was a young lady named Nicole S And she was fantastic! She was very pleasant and helped me with a wine selection given the wine list is full of Italian varietal's of which I had no experience! The menu has lots of great options from appetizers to entrees and we sampled several throughout the evening! The price point on the menu and wine list is very reasonable! This is a must restaurant for everyone to visit and have a wonderful dinning experience!! We would recommend making a reservation because it is a very popular spot

Have tried a few times and disappointed in the food every time. Strange taste, heavy and greasy. Pizzas on the menu but hardly any toppings. The pancakes were tasteless and swimming in melted butter. They put bacon on one brunch order despite a request not to.

What an UNBELIEVABLE staff!! Welcoming, attentive, happy, fun and made a birthday dinner complete!! The service was fast, efficient and exactly how we like it! The pizza was delicious and the eggplant was too. However…..3 different pastas were all crunchy and one was inedible. The aranchini were mush and the calamari was tasty but soggy. The Caesar was tasty , the drinks excellent and the focaccia was only “fine.” Overall, Mida will definitely get another chance, as the experience and the staff were outstanding! Not every meal can be perfect, but the experience was exceptional!!

My absolute favorite Italian restaurant around Boston. I am writing this review after moving away because I miss it so much!Their marinara is to die for. I love their arancini served with marinara. They have a really nice pizza and pasta selection too.Their tiramisu is a bit dry for my taste though.

We had a wonderfully charming and attentive server. The roast chicken with risotto was very flavorful, but some of our mussels were undercooked. The restaurant addressed our concerns.

Food was ok, but our waiter, Ethan, was amazing. A genuinely nice and caring person. Very proactive with offering up information pertaining to the food on the menu in terms of what was suitable for us based on our dietary restrictions. Checked in often and was very prompt. Definitely will go back and try other dishes, and will definitely request Ethan! The arancini was amazing, the salad with the pistachios was great. The gnocchi and mushroom paparedelle were ok, I think I was anticipating a different flavor profile based on comparable dishes I have had elsewhereWill definitely try the eggplant and pizza next time. The restaurant was really nice and the vibe was dope. Didn't feel like you were in the suburbs.Vegetarian options: Could benefit from more vegetarian friendly items and would help to label the menu items accordinglyParking: I went post 6pm on a weekday so there was plenty of free street parking available.

Been here twice. Both times the hostess has been less than welcoming. First time we had a reservation and they sat us in a single table wedged between the bar and bathroom. Second time it took them 25min to come and take our order and then they came and asked us to leave after 90min because they had another reservation. Food is ok, nothing to write home about. Service is meh.

Came here for Dine Out Boston. Big disappointment. The appetizers were actually not bad… For the entrees, the Salmon garnish was over-salted, but still enjoyable. The pork was very tough, much of the fat had not rendered down. The garnish was bland. The desserts were a complete miss.. the sour sauce on the Chocolate Torte completely drowned out any chocolate taste. The service was good, but all the dishes took way too long to come out of the kitchen. Add to that the fact that they try to stuff you either a kitchen appreciation fee instead of charging honest prices for paying their staff a fair wage, and that makes for a restaurant decidedly not worth coming back to.

Service is fine but the food isn't that good. Nothing I ate made me happy. The calamari was not well seasoned and the breading wasn't crispy. The carbonara had so little sauce it was borderline dry and the breadcrumbs were unnecessary. Nobody else at the table seemed that enthusiastic about their dish either.

Always worried about MIDA opening up so many locations, but it's been great each spot. Everything on the menu is great.

I've been here at least 15 times over the past few years so I'm a fan. Always enjoy the salad with crushed pistachios & the pizza. Used to enjoy swordfish and the salmon but both now gone to blander fish options. Also REALLY miss the puttenescae tuna pasta dish. Since these options dissappeared I find it hard to get excited about the place but still go. Drinks & service usually top notch I'd change two things if were king: 1,use some sound. Absorbing material in the space--it gets miserably loud and unpleasant on busy nights-leave with a headache from talking so loud and straining g so hard to be heard: 2. Do over the men's room. One small boy's height urinal--guaranteed to result in normal size and bigger men peeing on the floor a lot--was a dumb idea in such a modern and chic space

For a Wednesday night at 7:15 it was incredibly loud (could hear neither our server nor one another at our table for 4.) The food was not up to Mida's usual standards unfortunately. We'll chalk it up to an off night, but we were disappointed
