Yesterday morning I waited in line at Leon’s Bagels in SoHo for 30 minutes, as the place has maybe 7,000 positive reviews on Google? Such hype. I had their sausage egg and cheese on an egg everything, and the day before I had the exact same sandwich from NY Bagel Factory up the street from me. Leagues better. Amazing bagel sandwiches. Special shout out to Alex who took our order today - he was genuinely nice and helpful our whole time there. When the service is as good as the food, you know you're in the right spot. Will continue to come here again and again and will always recommend it to everyone we know.
I had a pastrami sandwich on toasted rye with melted Swiss, it was very hot and quite greasy/messy when I got it. I wrapped up the rest to take away and finished it that night. Very good!
