OTTO in Harvard Square is a favorite spot known for its fantastic pizza. The ingredients on the pies are spot on, making the pizza delicious. However, there were some issues with the service, as appetizers arrived late, and the server seemed to prioritize other tables over the reviewer and their son. Despite this, the food was enjoyable, especially the ricotta, basil, and meatball pizza. The restaurant is also very kid-friendly, with a bustling atmosphere that accommodates children making noise.
The new location of OTTO offers a selection of delicious pizzas by the slice, including cheese, margherita, mashed potato with bacon and scallion, and pepperoni. The crust is thin and excellent, with the cheese pizza standing out for its blend of cheeses and amazing flavor. The margherita pizza is generously topped with fresh basil, while the mashed potato pizza is decadent and loaded. The to-go slices are large and reasonably priced. Overall, OTTO provides a step above standard pizza shop pizza, offering a great dining experience with the potential for further exploration on their menu.
