Amazing pizza though $$$. I'm a bit of a pizza fanatic, you won't be disappointed, especially if you just go with a plain cheese.

Left without eating. Sat for 15 minutes.
We were given water but otherwise ignored. Final straw was when waitress took an order from the table next to us, then walked away without looking at us and went off to clear a table in another part of the restaurant.
I understand it was a busy night, but we were basically ignored

Pizza was pretty good, but nothing to go out of your way for.
A good atmosphere to have a drink or a bite with friends and talk, not loud like some places.

I personally think it's weird that they don't put sauce on pizza in a normal way. They just kind of plop it on there in a couple spots. It's obviously on purpose I'm not saying it's due to poor effort I just think it's weird. The gluten free crust itself is good though. Anyway we ate there in person on a weeknight around 5 and had to keep finding the server to help us order, every time we wanted more water (cups are small), and when we wanted to pay. They weren't rude it was just annoying that they kept disappearing. Parking is around the back.

Came in for a quick slice and beer before getting my haircut next door. Very quiet Wednesday afternoon but staff were lovely, slice was more than solid and local beer was excellent. I came back after the haircut for another round. Nice local spot.

Have loved Otto’s for years. Our favorite pizza and recommend to everyone! We had a terrible experience today and needed to write this review. We went to Newton Otto’s and have had good experiences in the past, tonight was awful. It being a Sunday night it was quiet. We arrived and had to wait to be seated only saw one female wait staff and another male. We could see cook in the kitchen. There were customers at 2 other table of two. Eventually the waitress came over and seated us and we then waited 10-15 mins until we got a wait staff. It was the male. We gave him our order. Caesar salad and a 4 cheese white pizza with extra pepperoni. The Caesar salad came out first and then the pizza. Pizza was wrong. Had no pepperoni on it. We told the female wait staff and she took the pizza to be corrected. She could barely speak English. The pizza that came back was a horrendous mess. The amount of pepperoni was more than normal for extra. It was enough for 3-4 other pizzas. The cheese was super thick and not cooked through. The amount of grease from the absurd amount of pepperoni made a puddle of grease. We each barely could eat 1 slice. We explained to the female wait staff that the pizza was not acceptable and wanted it taken off our bill. The male wait staff/manager came over and we told him how this was the first time we were disappointed in Otto’s as we always loved it.
He gave us some attitude remarking we asked for extra pepperoni and that’s what we got. I said that it was not just extra it was an obscene amount. I had taken off 25 slices at least that were piled on and they made the pizza sit in a puddle if grease.
This location needs better staff and definitely a better cook in the kitchen. Who ever made the pizza didn’t care about what they were making!!! Will not be going to Newton location any time soon. Funny thing is we had just been at Coolidge Corner location after a movie ( which was busy) we decided to go to the one closer to our home in Newton. We should have waited for a table at the Coolidge Corner location!!!

My wife and I went there on a Thursday because everywhere else was filled up. OTTO's was empty. We found out why. We were taken to our table, given our chairs and then, nothing.

We didn't see or hear from anyone for almost 10 minutes. There was a waitress in the corner laughing it up with her friends we could see that. I had to go to the bar to get someone.

We both ordered pizza and breadsticks. First came room temperature water for both of us. A flat coke for me and the type of beer that came right from the liquor store.

We then got breadsticks which were exactly the same as the pizza shop down the street. Except more money.

The pizza was good no complaints there but the terrible quality of the service as well as the poor quality of the food outside of the pizza makes us inclined to eat at places with a line next time then go here.

Your tiramisu usually tastes good. Today it tasted like health hazard, sour! Please, please do some quality control and keep the temp adequate, it’s the bare minimum. There’s no reason in hell to excuse y’all for serving food like that. Please I urge you, do better!

I got a discount coupon and thought, why not give it a shot? Pizza is one of my favorite foods, after all. I decided to eat there to get it fresh out of the oven, nice and hot… but sadly, it arrived at the table lukewarm. Not exactly the steamy pizza dream I had in mind — pretty disappointing. Still, the pizza was tasty!
