We seated right away. The servers worked well as a team to ensure our needs were met timely. It was a diverse menu and the food was delicious.

We love Riverbend - we always eat there when we stay at the Boston Marriott Newton. The breakfast buffet is terrific, and our server was the best!

It was disappointing that there was only one vegetarian dish: the house salad. It was decent, but didn't qualify as a meal for me.

One of the best eggs Benedict with delicious hash browns that I have ever had= and I've had this many times!!! Ate every last bite & drop.

Food was a continental quality at best. No option for anything but the “buffet”, only eggs and bacon , sausage and pots. NO choice of pancakes or waffles or French toast. Mediocre bread and pastries, yogurt, cereal . Coffee was cold. Used to go many years ago and it was so much better. Will not go back!

Had breakfast here. It's a lovely space, especially given its location on the river. Friendly staff too.

⸻ We had such a wonderful Easter brunch experience at the Riverbend! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing meal. The service was outstanding as well; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a top-notch brunch experience. We'll definitely be back!

The food is simply put awful. I ordered New England clam chowder and it was inedible. My daughter ordered a burger with mashed potatoes on the side and had a bit of the mashed potatoes. The burger was awful. Waiters picked up our full plates without asking a question and served us with the full bill.

Oh the tea was wonderful!

The lunch hour was busy but the staff handled the crowd with ease. I thought the Reuben sandwich was delicious and the French fries were just enough to satisfy but not overwhelm. I would return to dine for lunch here.

The chopped salad was excellent ! We were a group of seven women who lingered over coffee and we never felt rushed.

The food and service were fine today as they always do a great job at breakfast in the Riverbend Cafe. Unfortunately as we were eating the fire alarm went off and we were required to exit the restaurant and wait in the lobby. Business breakfasts are somewhat brief and instead of finishing our conversation, we had to leave. Time does not permit waiting around and returning to finish cold breakfast and coffee. So, this time not the best experience.

I reserved for brunch because of their menu at 10:45 but when we got there, we were told that no brunch is served there, the kitchen is closed and we can just have breakfast buffet that was not our choice. Or had to wait till 11:30 to be able to order the lunch menu.

It was so great to have this as an option for Thanksgiving Dinner. Staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Food was delicious. We will definitely keep this venue in mind for future celebrations.

Good service, and good Thanksgiving buffet. Would like to return to order off of their regular menu.

Thanksgiving brunch at this location is something we do for many years. After Covid it was not so good but we wanted to give them another chance. I am glad we did! My request for a window view sit was granted and our party of 5 loved the food choices at the buffet. In addition to the turkey we had short ribs , fish and pasta, salads , side dishes and option to choose 2 soups. Clam chowder was one of the best I had (other guests agreed with me). There were many types of cheeses and shrimps but I did not try them. I had to save room for the largest desert table I saw. They were amazing and we loved them all. Overall food was very good!!1 All the servers were kind and It was a wonderful experience even if the weather was rainy and gray.
