We had an amazing meal in this cosy, warm and welcoming joint right in the middle of Newton centre. We went without a reservation and sat at the bar. The food was perfect in every way which does not happen frequently and when it does – it is a great experience. The cavatelli was outstanding. Same with the porkchops. The deserts were great too. The staff were attentive , and at the same time knowledgeable about what was on offer. The manager too was extremely nice and offered us some very helpful advice on the venue itself. All said, this is a place that one can keep going back to.Parking: Generally enough spots except during weekends

Had a wonderful birthday dinner with a friend here - absolutely wonderful experience. The service was spectacular; we had a series of people who came to the table to talk about food and wine, then order takers and delivery service. It felt like a really high-end restaurant but was cozy, warm, and friendly. Honestly, if I could eat here every day, I would!

This is the third time we've come for burger night, and the third time it's been sold out by the time we've come for dinner (which was 7:30pm). It shouldn't be this difficult to plan for the demand.

My favorite restaurant in Massachusetts. David Punch is a genius in terms of food. The service and food are out of this world.

Sat at the bar with a friend. I dine out a lot and enjoy sitting at the bar in a restaurant because it generally has a friendly vibe. Not with this bartender. Snarky is the word that comes to mind. I worked in restaurants many years ago and my family had two restaurants on the Cape. This bartender would have been tossed. It’s a shame because the food is good but his obnoxious attitude is too off putting. If you can’t handle the pace of a busy bar while being affable-get out of business!

Take a date try the lamb! This is my go to spot for a very good meal. (Love the wait staff)

Food and atmosphere were very good; the disappointing part is the time constraint they keep imposing on each reservation; in our case it felt esp inadequate bc we came for a BDay celebration...and not just to eat; so I didn't like being reminded right at the door that by certain time we definitely need to get out...and that before we even had a chance to sit down; so we did feel unnecessarily rushed which definitely blemished our relaxing BDAY dining experience; so after this - I most likely won't be returning; perhaps the management needs to look into differentiating between event dining and regular dining reservations for better quality service and customer experience

Definitely NOT the best (THE Best? Really???) in Boston as some have allegedly claimed. Not even close!!! FRAUDULENT claim! FALSE ADVERTISING! Just an OK suburban restaurant. The chicken was actually slightly overcooked. Not tender. The other dishes were good but not special. Not earth shattering. When the host showed us the table, he just made a head gesture vs saying graciously “this way please” or “Please follow me.” And our belated Valentine’s Day celebration note was not acknowledged at all. Will NEVER go back! They will not acknowledge your celebrations! Why spend our money there??? When there are actually many great restaurants in Boston Cambridge with perfectly executed food and attentive hospitality! Will delete the food photos I took with my Canon mirrorless camera and not post: NOT Instagram worthy restaurant.

Sycamore is the best restaurant in the greater Boston area; a perfect and all-too-rare blend of homey vibes and gourmet

We took out good friends to Sycamore to celebrate a birthday. Reservation was held despite our being a few minutes late. Service was excellent. Food was delicious from starters right through to dessert. Menu is exotic. Each course is bursting with flavor.

Great beers, great vibe, super staff. My favorite of all the Charlotte breweries. Love the upgrades - can't wait to go back

Not sure how we didn't know about this place sooner but it is one of the best restaurants in the western suburbs. Everything was perfect; service, food, ambiance.... The kale salad, the white bolognese and croquet apps were delicious. The steak frites and the chick paillard were both awesome as well. It wasn't the cheapest meal, but you def get what you pay for there. Can't wait to go back.
