I have been going to Tatte for quite some time now for a variety of things. I would always buy like 4 decaf lattes to go as my partner use to love their coffee. Was always like a nice treat for her. The coffee now does not taste like it use too at all. It has been confirmed that they changed it. You know the saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"! It use to have such a nice smooth taste, now it's just harsh and acidic. Definitely, will no longer be buying any kind of coffee there.

Good place for coffee and sandwiches! Try to avoid during lunch on weekdays if possible, it gets extremely crowded, impossible to find a table!

And sadly, this is the only spot for coffee in the square, so I wish more businesses open up to at least get some variety.

This is the kind of bakery and cafe you'd want to take your close friends to, and have a great time with delicious food.
It's super crowded on weekends and holidays but once you try the food, you'd understand the reason for their incredible popularity.

All of their baked goodies and desserts are gorgeous! It will make you go back, again and again!

The decor is tastefully done up.

Their service can be better, to cater to the long queue that forms in to order or buy anything.

I don't get the big deal over this place. The food is fair, the service is fair, its loud , crowded, with long lines.

Tatte Bakery in Newton: A Local Gem for Coffee, Pastries, and Meetings!
Tatte Bakery in Newton is a standout spot for exceptional baked goods, expertly crafted espresso drinks, and delicious sandwiches. The inviting atmosphere makes it a great choice for business meetings or casual catch-ups, though it can get a bit noisy during peak hours. While their hot dishes may not shine as brightly as their signature offerings, Tatte remains one of the top bakery-cafes in the area for quality and charm. A must-visit for pastry lovers!

Getting kind of annoyed with Tattes messing up pick up orders. I ordered for pick up yesterday some breakfast sandwiches and a vanilla almond biscotti. Instead of the biscotti I got a sugar donuts :/. This is at least the third time they’ve done this, I wish the employees paid more attention. I didn’t realize until this morning when I was looking forward to eating it

Extremely crowded and loud, be prepared to fight for the last chair and chase down your order in the chaos.

Tatte got the reputation, so people are here for the reputation.
Their hot foods are generally good. Halloumi breakfast sandwich was delicious, perfect with a sunny side up egg with runny yolks.
Coffee was adequate, better than Starbucks, but that's a pretty low bar.

My friend ordered at the same time as me. I got my food 10 minutes after ordering, and he waited another 20 minutes without getting his food. We inquired multiple times about it and they ignored us and didn’t do anything. Literally sucked so bad. It was my friend’s birthday too and they ruined it.

Good food, pretty place, nice environment, quick service. You can dine in or to go. They have a little terrace. There's a big parking place across the street behind the park.

Tatte Bakery has an amazing dinner menu. The cauliflower sandwich was absolutely delicious! The ice cream with berries was tasty. The food, atmosphere, and service were all fantastic. I will be back for more.
