Our family has been a customer of The Icing on the Cake for many years. Usually it’s been for holidays. This year our grandson graduated and asked for a cake from TIOTC. He knew what flavor he wanted but didn’t know what type of decoration to go with. I called the bakery and spoke with Paula (who was amazing, so helpful and informative) I ordered a strawberry mousse cake with buttercream frosting (a flavor we’d never had in all these years) DELICIOUS- I left the decoration idea in her hands, and I’m so glad I did. The cake was perfect. His high graduation colors and his college logo all perfectly incorporated onto one cake. I highly recommend the strawberry mousse cake.

The staff could not be more friendly and the cake was perfect. We were not able to make it before closing on Saturday to pick up our cake for Sunday. Despite that, I called and a member of the staff was generous enough to briefly meet me on Sunday to pick up our cake. You almost never see customer service this caring and I will certainly use them for more occasions to come!

I love how personal the cake tasting experience was. It was such a sweet bonding moment for us. We were able to look through all examples and pick out piece by piece what we were looking for. We loved our cake and it tasted incredible! Not dry at all! We had a very specific autumnal vision and they nailed it! One of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding. Reliable and personal service. They are really passionate about what they do and it feels very much made with love from start to finish.

They made my husband’s retirement cake after 41 years of service. They did beyond my expectations- the decorations and realistic looking of the badge stunned everyone - the attention to details and design — we didn’t want to serve the cake. The cake was moist and the raspberry filling was perfect. Everyone wouldn’t stop asking about the bakery that made this beautiful cake. The cake was beyond beautiful. We did a small ceremony cake and then had more cake in the back to cut down on costs. But everyone commented on how beautiful our cake was. It was also very delicious (we did 2 different flavors) and there were almost no leftovers. We had to have our caterer set some aside for us to make sure we got to eat it.

Above and beyond service and quality of cake! If you’re looking for a wedding cake for your special day, I highly recommend The Icing On The Cake. They made the process of choosing your flavor, design, and accents to the cake so easy. My cake topper went missing the day of so I would recommend ordering one through them to avoid the problem of not having a cake topper. I will be ordering cakes for special occasions from them in the future.
