The food is consistent and delicious. A home cooked meal when you don’t have the time to cook!! Sides are Thanksgiving every day of the year. Happiness!

I unfortunately did not enjoy my meal and would probably not go back. Getting in and out was quick. Everything was packaged well. Everything looked good. However, the flavors and consistency were not great. The mac and cheese had an odd flavor to it. I'm not sure what it was, maybe cayenne? I wasn't a fan. The mashed potatoes were good. I would call them smashed instead of mashed due to large pieces of potato still in it. The gravy was ok, but i probably would skip the gravy if i went again. The kale and brussels side dish was awful. Just a boiled mushy mess. I couldn't eat it. The chicken was tasty, a little sweetness to it, but it was a bit dry. Rotisserie chicken tends to get a little dry but this was a little more than acceptable, for me at least. One thing i did like was that there were a lot of side dish options. If i go back again, i'll try some other sides and update my review.

THIS PLACE IS SOOO GOOD. Absolutely stop by, some of the best chicken I've ever had in my life. Their habanero mango sauce is so good. Try the mashed potatoes as well. Incredible!

The establishment maintains a clean atmosphere, consistently employs pleasant and accommodating staff, and serves moist, fresh, and juicy rotisserie chicken with a wide variety of delicious side dishes. Modern Rotisserie is a worthwhile destination.

The chili is amazing. I can’t ever make it home without digging in on the way. Getting soup and chicken from the same place is genius, a full meal that tastes like it came from your own kitchen.

I have been a customer of The Soup Factory since they opened their first location in Brookline near my office. I was thrilled that their current location is in Newton where I now live. Marjorie’s chicken soup is a staple in our house. When my kids were little it was one-off the few nutritious things I could get them to eat. I also live the sweet potato corn chowder, the gazpacho, and many others. The salads are always fresh and delicious and I love her light lemon vinaigrette dressing. The rotisseries is also great my oldest son asks for it every time he comes home
Plus so many other delicious things! But most importantly Marjorie’ and Paul and their family are so warm and friendly and generous. They know who we are, when my husband had an accident they asked after him every time I came in. And they are extremely community minded…they generously fill the community “freedge”, a free resource for the food insecure people in our community with their delicious soups and other foods. We are so fortunate to have them as part of our community! ( oh, and just to mention how great they were during the pandemic— they did construction to create a take out window for safe pick up back in 2020 when there were few options. It was a lifesaver!

Listen!!! I want to bring this spot back home to New York! Specifically Long Island! They really put LOVE into the preparation of this food! I’ve not tasted anything like this since my grandmother passed! 5 stars isn’t enough! I can’t wait to come back to Boston in May hoping that I can bring some of this home for my friends to enjoy!’ Thank you!! For putting ya foot in it!!
