The restaurant was under renovation and there was not a message to let us know it was close They accepted my reservation, still received a confirmation message and my party of 6 showed up to our surprise that the restaurant is closed. Now imagine Thursday night find a table for 6!!!!

I like their outdoor space. Food was okay at best. Service was not good. Had to wait for 10 minutes for water, waiter didn't even come until another 5-10 minutes and got the wrong order.

Well... it's kind of sad writing this review, because the restaurant is closing at the end of May. The service was excellent, the food delicious. At one point they turned up the speakers and the basketball game was blasting - we had to yell to hear each other. But none of that matters, because they'll only be there for another couple of weeks. Sorry to see them go. Really good restaurant.

We had a reservation however had to wait almost 30min outside for a table. When we got our table we sat near the door which wasn't ideal but whatever. Our server was clearly being pulled in 10 different directions which tells me they either aren't staffed properly or not trained properly. I ordered clam chowder that arrived like warm. My kids ordered burgers that the bun was bigger than the patty. Mostly bread. My wife had a salad that was swimming in dressing. Drinks took forever and my gin and tonic was flat. Great if you are a teenager but if looking for a meal to enjoy skip this place.

On a quiet night the bartender was on top of it, classic rock and half a dozen tvs showing ESPN force the atmosphere. Chicken bites were dry and meh. Good beer selection. Hard to find from the street, sorta behind the bank drive through in an alley. Probably fun on a busy weekend night.

Great salmon orzo plate with large portion, good sized salad for co-diner. Waiter checked back re: drinks. Food arrived promptly..we could talk to each other over the table (not always the case nowadays!). And this was inside...look forward to their patio opening this season.

The food is all frozen and tastes terrible. However, I do think that this is a really good bar location. It's a great place to hang out and watch a game, I just wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a place to go to eat on the weekend. There are a million other places, save your

I absolutely love this place!! There is nothing like a home cooked meal and that is exactly what you get when you come to here. The food is always hot always good and always fresh.

Went there for a big dinner with people from work. It was not overly busy and they know we were coming but still seemed like the staff was overwhelmed. They were out of several items and it took a long time between round of drinks. When the food finally did come out was a trickle some plates at a time at random so that the first people either had food food or were done eating by the time the last were out. It was ok but not a place is necessarily go back to.

Overall Union Street is good. Excellent GF options - which is why we chose it here. Prices are high for what you get. We sat in the downstairs Room, decor is a bit standard pub type and service was a bit slow down there. Music from the speakers was very loud. Food was good - no complaints there.

The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly, but I wasn't thrilled with the food. I expected the steak tips to be better considering the price. They were cooked to a perfect medium-rare, but the meat was very tough. I think this is more a reflection of the quality of ingredients and not the chef. I would come back and try something else on the menu. Additional note: the white sangria tasted like sour mix.Dietary restrictions: The restaurant handled our party's allergy concerns well

Scrambled eggs on two plates were cold upon being served, and more importantly, restaurant was already out of signature/staple beignets on the early and relatively empty side of Sunday brunch (we had a 12:15pm seating and the place was maybe 25% full) ... how can that be??

We dined on a Sunday afternoon - not overly busy at 1:00. My two dining companions had not previously been to Union Street. I had, but always dining outside. This was a first experience dining inside. The server - Kristen T - was excellent - highly responsive but not hovering; "just right"! The food was excellent, as well - Backyard Burger, Farro Harvest Bowl and Classic Caesar Salad. The price was perhaps a smidge high, but given the current economy and inflated prices at many restaurants, it was both expected and reasonable. I had previously enjoyed my dining experiences and look forward to returning, as do, I am happy to say, my other dining companions!
