It’s great as long as you don’t get the old bald head dude. He stiffs you on the size of the ice cream serving. Everyone else is really nice.
Once last month though I saw him when I was walking up and I turned around and went to JP Licks. Probably won’t ever go in if I see him through the window.
Their chocolate chip and their chocolate is among the best I have ever had in my life. And their vanilla is really good too. My wife likes the Death By Chocolate and my daughters like the mint chocolate chip.

really disheartened by my experience at this shop. i ordered an ice cream soda but although i was first in line, two white people who came in behind me were both served and rung up before i was. the man who served me (maybe the owner?) then proceeded to explain to the staff that this is “only something grandparents order” and that it’s “very uncommon” and an acquired taste. he keeps on repeating these things as he showed the staff how to make the drink and frankly all of those comments made me feel really unwelcome and uncomfortable. meanwhile the white people served before me got none of those types of comments. the whole interaction felt racially motivated and i definitely will not be ordering again from here. would not recommend this place if you are a BIPOC.

My family and I had a terrible experience here. My husband and son’s Oreo shakes tasted like straight milk no flavor, no thickness. When I asked for more ice cream to fix it, the staff refused. The manager opened the lids and said “there’s plenty of ice cream in there” like if we were lying dismissed us completely.

We’re a Hispanic family, and after reading another review mentioning racism, it all makes sense now. The cold, rude treatment we got felt personal.

Won’t ever be coming back. If you care about decent service or respect go somewhere else.

Love their flavors! They have a good mix of classic and unusual flavors. Staff is super friendly too and prices are great. They don't take apple pay FIY! Highly recommend

Great atmosphere and nice little college ice cream shop. Always lively with groups of students and offers a nice range of flavors and types of ice cream. I really enjoy death by chocolate and would recommend it. The staff is always kind and welcoming. Great for a late night stop.

This establishment was here when I was at Boston College in the 80's and still in existence 30 years later. Wow memories. The famous Jamaican Rum Ice cream I swore had real rim back in the day. It was so strong I could not finish. The formula today is much different but still creamy!

Very tasty, not too sweet, and huge portions. I was having lunch nearby, and I was really not used to the lunch at the Mexican restaurant next door. I accidentally saw the ice cream, which saved my lunch. It tastes good and the lady's attitude is very friendly. My daughter wanted to go to the bathroom, so I was brought in and told how to use it.

The service was really bad !!! The person managing the place was very rude with the workers & customers. I think he has to tone it down.

Great homemade ice cream place to get some sweets. They have a rotating menu with seasonal flavor. There’s plenty of parking in the front and seating inside. They have free water and a variety of selection of flavors that suits everyone’s taste. They have sorbet, classics, yogurt, and sugar free ice cream. They also have ice cream cakes and takeaway ice cream.
