I ordered a honey garlic chicken and it was delivered to me on time, but it wasn’t edible. The meat was extremely overcooked, I could barely bite it. When I called to ask to exchange the dish, I was told it wasn’t possible unless I came to the restaurant to make an exchange. After explaining that I was home with my sleeping kids by myself, the woman said to call back later and hung up. The order arrived at 8pm so I’m not sure what later means - I usually eat dinner at dinner time. I called back again and spoke to the same woman who was rude and nasty on the phone. I asked if it’s possible to get a refund since the meat is not edible and she said to call back later for the exchange. It’s clear they do not value their customers.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Substitute garbage and short after SELLING basic Hot Mustard. Chicken legs and half tiny wings not good substitute for missing fried shrimp and real chicken wings. Charging for Hot Mustard and giving a few drops is criminal. Run these criminals out of Newton!

This was our go to Chinese food while at work.. But.. what I found in my food freaked me completely OUT!! I couldn't see it because it was a jelly form and hard, once I felt it in my mouth I knew something was sooo WRONG... at that point I was DONE DONE!!

i stopped by zheng garden to grab dinner and ordered the sweet and sour chicken with rice. it was pretty good but not really what i expected. the chicken tasted like chicken nuggets. the sauce looked extremely artificial. total cost was about $16, which is quite reasonable compared to other asian restaurants. there's still no seating available for customers (as of june 2023), and it's still take out only. parking was super difficult - there's a lot nearby and street parking, but they were all filled. overall rating: 6/10

I took my brother here and said to him "taste theor chicken with vegetables. Its amazing isn't it" and he said yes it is . And he dines and all the fine resterants in the Washington dc area. And in these times of inflation, they really haven't raised their prices as much as other restaurants have

Beef teriyaki was super chewy which is nice cause they're dry sometimes. Didn't get enough fry noodles with my chow mein since they come in really small portions. I asked for extra and I got like mostly empty bags with the sticks. Looks like someone ate some of them. Chow mein was good and had great spices. Not a lot of chicken though.

Worst instance of food poisoning in my life. I will never, ever eat here again and will be contacting the Newton health department. Judging by the conditions inside upon picking up the order, I should have known better. I am not a picky eater and have not had food poisoning since I was a child. Within an hour of eating here, I was vomiting uncontrollably and on the toilet for 36 hours before I could keep anything down again. You've been warned. This place should be shut down.

This was my first time eating lunch here. I got orange chicken with beef teriyaki and fried rice. The beef teriyaki was excellent, the orange chicken was authentic with big flavors, and the rice was decent. I give a solid 4 stars here and will be back!
Got delivery from Zheng Garden on New Years Eve. Food arrived quickly, piping hot, and delicious, with a nice text message from the delivery driver. Prices are quite reasonable compared to other places in the area. Will definitely order again!

Szechuan Lo Mein is delicious, and they stuff it so full you’ll get two meals out of the carton. Unless you’re *really* hungry ?Spring rolls are awesome too, good mix of pork and veggies, very crispy batter ??Spicy chicken wings are good, but the green pepper/jalapeño mix they cook them in is a little odd - they look exactly the same so you never know if you’re getting a jalapeño or a green pepper ?
