Great place to stop for a bite or a beverage. Food is always excellent. Specials are great. Beverage selection is very good as well. Above all else, they have an exceptional staff that are very cohesive. Front house, kitchen, bar staff, and servers all intermingle like a family. You can tell there is great leadership starting with the owners that trickles down and permeates throughout the team. Making Novatos the #1 eatery in the area. Keep up the great work folks! Wow. Food was amazing and the price point was actually low for the quality and portion size.
We started with an order of lobster mac and cheese for the table of four followed by the seared tuna bowl, the Seafood Saute, the Brazilian Stew, and the grilled salmon. All yo rave reviews.

I love Novatos food, interesting and varied choices and very well prepared. It's a gem of a place in a location that you would not expect to have such a selection but in a pub setting. Today I ordered grilled shrimp and scallops. The veggies are perfectly cooked and seasoned and the shrimp was lovely. I was taken aback to find the scallops to be well cooked and tender but they were very "ripe", as in, past the fresh stage. I ate one, tried a bit of another, yup, same and just wisely stopped. When the server came, I told her to make sure she let the kitchen know that they should not serve any more scallops. She said sure. OK, I admit I have trouble standing up for myself, and I never complain about food, but I did expect some gesture, a break, a coupon, since it was spoiled seafood, not just something I didn't like. I paid and left. No question I will continue to enjoy Novatos again and again. I really hope she told the kitchen because I know they would never want to serve that if they knew. I kind of wish I had asked to speak with the kitchen crew, because then I am sure that it would definitely be handled. My issue is mainly with the service. It was too late to ask for something else to eat so I ate my excellent veggies and rice.

Visiting from Atlanta, we came here for lunch and it was great! The lobster mac n cheese was the perfect shared starter. Everyone was very pleased with their meal, I had the Brazilian Stew and it was fantastic. Service was friendly, atmosphere was relaxed. Everything was clean. I definitely recommend Novatos!

Had the grilled shrimp and scallops. Scallops were dry. Shrimp was good. Thought the steak tips would be wonderful but they were just good. We were not given the specials menu. Not sure if we’ll go back.
2nd visit to this restaurant. The food is great. I had the seafood platter that was a nightly special but I believe they do it regularly because I had something similar last time. It was fantastic. Server did a great job. Will be back again.

Went for lunch, they had some type of raffle going on, but, there was hardly anyone in there except at the bar, yet the bartender was SCREAMING so obnoxiously loud. You can walk from one end of the bar to the other and just say the number a few times to each area in a stern voice, not so the entire place even in the dinning room can hear and has to stop talking until she stops screaming. Extremely annoying. If anyone thinks that's ok, then I won't argue, no point, I'm good, would never go back because of that. Too bad, food & server were great!
