I usually do not take the time to fill out Google Reviews, but for this place I felt like I had to. Have had the pleasure to eat here many times and have always had the most pleasant experiences. The brisket ragu is one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had in my life, and I order the Sriracha chicken sliders every time, they are also amazing. The staff is always attentive, courteous, and not too interruptive. This place is hardly ever busy, which makes no sense to me. If you are in North Adams and are looking for great food with great service, look no further than 413 Bistro and Taproom.

This was a porkbelly slider. It was very dry and burned. You could not bite into this thing. I did order doordash So i was not able to send it back. I know their food is better than this.

413 Bistro did an extraordinary job catering a post-wedding brunch at our home for a large group (50!). The food was delicious and beautifully presented (quiche, French toast, fruit salad, bacon, sausage, yogurt w/fixins, Bloody Mary and mimosa bar, etc. ) and the chefs and staff could not have been more attentive. Many thanks to Chef Zach, Assistant Chef Tori, wait staff (and all around utility team players) Kayla and Genevieve and of course, owner Paul Brassard for planning and executing a wonderful event.

I cannot rate the food of this place because I didn’t even stay to try it out. We came in, we saw, and we left. This has to be the most boring place in the entire city. It was dark, silent, no other clients… just boring and weird. Im usually very kind with my reviews but unfortunately this one left me with no choice. The place has great potential;maybe change the ceiling color and add some decor to try to make it cozier, or maybe play some ambience music… just a couple of suggestions.

There are better options. We stopped in for lunch since we were staying at the hotel and while the hotel is awesome, this "bistro" was terrible with flavorless wings, slimy textured wrap sandwich, soggy fish and chips with very "doughy" breading, and soggy fries that tasted like they had been sitting for a spell...It is pretty rare that we eat somewhere where all of us find the food intolerable.

I stopped at the 413 Bistro last night.
Lackluster experience -
The service was inattentive and uncommitted.
Half the beers they promoted having on tap were out so I ordered a whiskey sour. The bartenders needed online guidance on how to make my drink -You definitely don’t use bitters?
Even though they looked up the recipe online I had to ask them to use simple syrup and to shake it.
I asked for a straw to mix the first drink that wasn’t shaken and they gave me a big one?
The steak, mashed potatoes and yellow beans were delicious.
They have the best spot in town, right inside of Hotel Downtown with a new dining room, beautiful bar and a massive outdoor patio.

Parking: Plenty of available parking options available near by.

Kid-friendliness: Yes, dining areas are well suited to accommodate persons with children.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, all public access areas are well suited to accommodate persons in wheelchairs.

The vibes in this building were STRANGE, to say the least...
My partner and I were the only customers in the building when we arrived. There were multiple tables waiting to be cleaned up and only one staff member present during the entire duration of our visit. The place was absolutely silent and we didn't receive our waters until after our food was served, approximately 45 minutes later. After the food was placed on our table, we realized we had NO silverware to even eat our entree. That took another 5 minutes to receive from the waitress. The food was expensive, poor quality, and presented in a manner that was simply slapped together. Finally, this said waitress did not clean up a single table during our visit, but instead pulled up a chair and LITERALLY told us his entire life story for the wholeee time. My partner and I hadn't seen each other in a few months and were looking to find a quaint restaurant where we could catch up, apparently that was not possible. Don't get me wrong, this employee was extremely kind/friendly, but very intrusive and the price/quality of the food has me certain I will not be returning in the future...

The food is excellent! Seriously, North Adams has a hidden gem here. Megan, our server was great as well.

Ate outside. Wonderful young waitress who saw to our every need. Fish tacos, lemon asparagus and roasted vegetable salad were great. Flavor and seasonings were delightful. Added the lemon asparagus served on a bed of risotto as an afterthought; so glad we did! First time this local tried the 413, but won't be the last!

Parking: Parked right in front with onstreet parking in early evening.

What's going on? Why hasn't this place been done over like the rest of the hotel? Guinevere and Megan offered excellent service. The burger too was very good . Fine beer selection. There's not a single soul In The place?
