I had to give it at least one star as there is no option for zero stars. My family and I were extremely disappointed. We ordered rigatoni bolognese (x2) fish and chips and sliders (siracha chicken and pork belly) with salt and vinegar fries. We ordered it to go so we could eat it in the lobby of the attached Hotel Downtownstreet. Literally walked just a few steps to sit and eat and the food was cold. The pasta was salty, the fish and chips were flavorless and my sliders were a disaster. When I opened my container, it looked as if the food was thrown in without a care in the world. Just the appearance alone turned me off but because we had already paid….and I was hungry, I decided to just go with it. Regret is an understatement. Unfortunately, not a good experience! Never again!

Got a burger and fish and chips. The burger tasted good. The "lettuce" on it was mixed greens. It had a very strong spice mix on it. The fish was rubbery. The fries were really greasy and soggy.

I wanted to like this restaurant. Fish and chips were very good and a large portion. The baked scrod was small, size of pack of cigarettes and had too much breadcrumb on it.Ordered drinks. My canned cider was tasteless. They did replace it with another brand on tap. That was good. Margaritas was good. The downside is that the hours were not published. Asked about brunch on Christmas Eve and was told they would be open. They were not

I was at Deborah and Jason Riders wedding it was very unprofessional. The gentleman who served us was very rude. Due to the simple fact we had five people sitting at our table with a card that had your name and what your eating two had went to the bathroom he came in and asked what people are getting what. And we told him all beef and he only tired to serve the three at the table and not the ones using the restroom. Food was horrible was not fully cooked. The wait staff was unprofessional because they never walked around asking people if they needed water or anything. They were also very rushy. Also under dressed for a wedding.

Honestly... this place is great in terms of the options available in the north Adams area. I had the chips and dip app, we had sliders and the coq au vin. All REALLY GOOD. There are few options for dining in the town. Atmosphere could be better. Food great, service great! They need... MUSIC, live or otherwise, plants, make sure every table has a table cloth and centerpiece?! But otherwise don't overlook this hidden gem:)

Food did not taste very good and did not seem very well made. Chicken had little taste, salad had too much oil but not enough flavor and had a number of pieces that had gone bad. Veggies were very over-buttered. Server was friendly and helpful though. The pictures in google maps looked really appetizing, probably because they were done by a professional photographer. However, they did not look or taste the way you'd expect from the photos, in my experience.

We discovered the Bistro while staying at the adjacent hotel. It has a hip but casual feel. There is also a large outdoor dining area that's also vet chic. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly waitress who gave us a great window seat. She was very attentive to our needs (my wife is gluten free). We shared the pork belly appetizer, which was out standing! I had the Roast Beef Sandwich, Au Jus. It was perfect. And the homemade fries were out of this world. My wife Dad the Cheeseburger, which she said was done perfectly. The portions were large and delicious. Great service and great food. I would definitely return if we are back in this area again!

We went for dinner at 5:30 pm on a Thursday night. The place was deserted which should have been our first clue. The service was terrible. Food portions were small. Prices are high. For example, $20 for a small plate of mussels. The mussels were microscopic. Pasta was an additional $3 and if I hadn't ordered it with pasta, I would have left just as hungry as when I arrived. Beers range $7 to $9 for a can. Not worth the time or money.

Really a terrible restaurant. A very sad, dead place. Young staff dressed in rags and worn out flannels are the bar tenders and they have no clue how to make a martini. They dress like they're on a dump run or doing yard work. The Coq au vin was prepared months ago and frozen, a dense, dark strange thing served with a butter dip because it is dry as chalk. The fish and chips was terrible - not fresh, no flavor. We ate at the bar, where the baby cook, for no reason at all, tried to stare me down because he thought I was a weak old thing. I held his stare with a kind smile and then he looked away. What an unfriendly place! Staff preferred to serve their friends or kin. Maybe they hope stranger-customers will leave instead of ordering. That's how it feels to be a customer here. We left a big tip because these poor, oblivious, completely untrained, clueless kids obviously need the scratch. Never, ever will return.

We were told to seat ourselves and then no service. Sat for 10 minutes no one came by. Saw a table sat by waitress and they immediately had a drink order placed.

I was grabbing some drinks, and the first round came out at normal pace with waters for us, then we had to wait for forever for our second round, but that was all salvaged by the fact that we heard they actually chemically bond the hydrogen and oxygen molecules to make the water they are bringing to you, and they brew all the ipas right on the spot, even the ones that say they're from other surrounding states, even the one thats from ireland is actually brewed on the spot, they even produce the cans that they are putting the ipas into.

Took 2 hrs to get 2 drinks. Don't want to blame the server as she was the only one working, so I'll blame management. Bartender was also rude to my wife. Don't bother w this place.

The entire experience was rather pleasing. I, myself, prefer my drinks to take a whole hour to arrive at the table(even a glass of water). It was also nice to understand that with the long wait time, they proved that they do, in fact, brew the beer in-house directly after you order it. The water was also hand crafted by Alfred Nobel himself, first by mixing two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen, then adding vitamins and minerals for a better taste. Would recommend this spot to anyone who has hours to kill and isn't looking for any satisfaction while they wait. 10/10 would go again, but next time, I will most certainly make a reservation so we won't be publicly shamed for being an unprepared group of delinquents who just wanted a few drinks.?
