We had a private event here last month for about 50 people. It was the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding the next day. Mariah was easy to work with and planning went smoothly. We had a cocktail hour followed by a family style dinner. Everything was delicious (and we are picky about Mexican food!) and the vibe was very fun and festive. Thanks Mariah and everyone at Casita for a great evening. We definitely recommend!

The cheese and mushrooms in the veggie quesadillas were delish. There were not many veggies- luckily the cheese and mushrooms were scrumptious. We were surprised there were no onions, peppers, jalapeños. The tacos were also scrumptious- I tried the veggie taco- loaded with mushrooms- something about those mushrooms were perfect! The other taco was steak and I absolutely loved that the steak was well seasoned and good size pieces. The guacamole lacked salt!!! The salsa lacked heat. We requested hot salsa which we added to the salsa that came with the chips and guac. The sexy margaritas were strong, but nothing sexy about them. When I have a good margarita, it’s memorable. My lunch date asked “What’s sexy about these margaritas?” Well, there’s a question that will go unanswered. I certainly would not order another one- it was meh. We turned around and tried Casita because of the sign. Lol. The service was fine, the food was served fairly quickly.

We are in the area for a long weekend and checked out Casitas for lunch, and gotta say it was one of the best we have had in some time. The chips guac & salsa were perfect for a lunch portion keeping us from eating too much and getting tired, then we got the fried cauliflower sandwich with a couple yucca fries and the lunch cheese quesadilla with crema side. Everything was amazing, but the cauliflower sandwich was something that especially stood out. We don’t even really like cauliflower much but were just too intrigued and were so happy we took a chance bc it’s prepared so perfectly plus the zesty sauce, pickles, and slaw with that awesome bun - perfection. Also, the little area with the art museum etc this is in is really cool like a renovated factory now arts district. Couldn’t recommend all of this more, and wish we had a location down in NJ bc we just love this kind of unique Mexican/Central American type food.

The food was good and fresh, but we found the choices very limited. We ordered chips with guacamole and the amount of chips we got was too small. I ordered my salad with a side of grilled chicken, which was served cold and just not very tasty. While we loved the atmosphere and the service, there is room for improvement with the food.

Started off fantastic. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. The queso fundido appetizer was tasty, though the chips are too salty and thin. I ordered a vegetarian quesadilla and they brought me something with meat. They were apologetic and brought a vegetable quesadilla out right away, but it was burned and inedible. They ended up comping all of the food and that was gracious. But I have been a vegetarian for decades and if I cannot trust a restaurant to serve me what I ordered in this regard then I really cannot trust them at all.

This place is AMAZING! We have had tons of great meals here, most recently with our family (party of 10) where everyone had an incredible meal. Thank you Casita!
Parking: Plenty of parking in the Mass Moca complex where the restaurant is.

Bold and well-balanced flavours, local and seasonal ingredients, creative cocktails, attentive and quick service. What more could one ask for for a perfect meal?

Unedible food, served with minimal effort
Hard to mess Mexican food so bad
We went here 3 Fridays in a row, due to events at Mass MoCA. The food is always amazing, the staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is very chill. It does take some time to get your order so be sure to schedule your reservation for earlier if you are going to a show. We didn’t always plan well but they did get us out in plenty of time to make it to the shows. They are wonderful all around!

Yes. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is perfect. I enjoy the in and outdoor seating options. However, the take out schedule is inconsistent. I had take one Sunday and told the following Sunday, take out wasn’t an option. I later was allowed to make reservations for 2:15p. Only to arrive and there were no tacos, no salad and no quesadillas. The restaurant closes at 2:30p and I was reminded the kitchen was soon closing. This was definitely an inconvenience for someone on a lunch break.

Amazing! Right next to the museum is a treat. I nearly had a whole chicken on my fried chicken sandwich (see picture) and my dad said the carne asada taco was delicious.

Our recent visit to the restaurant was a mixed experience.
The food was satisfactory, and the hostess was friendly and accommodating. We completely understand the restaurant's policy against outside beverages, including our coffee from nearby. When our server, Chloe, informed us we couldn't have the drink inside, we suggested covering them or finding an alternative solution, which the hostess later approved. While we appreciate the need for rules, Chloe's approach felt unnecessarily rigid and unfriendly (essentially only providing the options of discarding our drink or leaving it unattended outside). After resolving the drink issue, her service became oddly inconsistent - either extremely rushed or entirely absent. She rarely made eye contact or engaged in any pleasant interaction. We recognize that everyone can have off days, but Chloe's inflexibility and cold attitude did impact our dining experience. The restaurant is good but the inconsistency in service was disappointing.

Food was good, but little octopus in the octopus dish I ordered and too much ice in the Cadillac Margarita. Skirt steak was great as well as the corn pasta dish.

Everything was outstanding. Our Server at the bar, Josh, really made the night special.
The Street Corn Gnocci and the Churro Ice Cream really stood out!
