I was thrilled to find such a unique and comforting place to get delicious, affordable food, being that I'm not from the area but wanted some lunch. I got hot dogs, and fried pickles, and they were hot and delicious. I returned for more a few days later and I plan on returning again whenever possible.
If you go to North Adams and don't go to Jack's Hot Dogs, you are seriously not living life. You will not get better fresh, homemade food for beyond reasonable prices like you will here. When I was a local, I was here daily, sometimes twice a day! Now that I moved a few towns away, I take every chance I can get to go there and after eating here for over 30 years, I still can't get enough. Fantastic little "hole in the wall" that is worth the trip. Tiny diner atmosphere, food is amazing. The handcut fries are top notch! Prices are perfect. Just keep in mind that it is cash only. There is an atm inside, and counter seating for about 8 people tops, but great outdoor seating right across the street.
