In town for the weekend and are here on a busy Friday night. We made reservations online earlier in the day and the first opening was at 8 pm, so keep that in mind!The bar/tenders are expert. I had an eye drink and husband had something the bar tender made up based on his vague description. We were a little early so had our drinks in a comfortable lounge area with a comfortable couch.? The waitress kept us updated on the progress on our table. We felt very taken care of.The food was good but we weren’t blown away. I had the Cuban sandwich and my partner had the mussels. We also had two apps: salad and goat cheese. It was all a bit over-salted, but tasty. We’d definitely go back and try something else from the menu. It was reasonably priced, atmosphere was amazing, service stellar.

I recently had dinner at the beautiful Public restaurant in North Adams Ma. Our server was Marcus and he was absolutely stellar. His suggestions were spot on. I had the Baked goat cheese and the macaroni and cheese. They were both fantastic. It was the perfect girls night out. We will definitely go back often.

The food was delicious. I was very pleased that they had vegetarian options. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was fine but very noisy, but that might simply be because there were people in the restaurant (because it's so good!), so not much can be done about that!

Public is one of the best restaurants in Northern Berkshire County. They're in a good location with plenty of parking, the ambiance is great, and the staff are all friendly.Their menu prices are slightly higher than similar restaurants in the area, but the quality of the food more than justifies the pricing. Every meal I've had here is truly exceptional.You won't be disappointed if you go here - just keep in mind that you'll probably need a reservation at peak times. It's very popular with locals and tourists alike.
Got the burger & fries, fries were burnt & lacked any flavor; burger wasn’t cooked medium rare as requested. Unfortunately mid-tier for a $20 burger.

My family of 5 (2 adults/ 3 kids) had an awesome experience at PUBLIC. We all ordered from the main menu (FYI. There is a kid menu but it is not printed). Every bite of food on every plate was delicious. The flavor combinations were exceptional. The dishes were creative (carne asada with a hint of fennel was awesome). The beers were great. Waitress was super nice too. Highly recommend! We will be back next time we are in NA ?We ordered the NY strip, carne asada, tempura chicken tenders and mac and cheese.

So so so great! We had a big group, and came in late to our reservation, but the awesome folks at Public could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Our server, Ben, was so gracious, the food was delicious, and the ambience could not have been better (helped by a fire playlist). Great team here, both in the kitchen and out front :)

We enjoyed PUBLIC eat+drink so much on our first evening in the Berkshires we had to dine here again two days later.Good fun crowd in attendance. Plus, PUBLIC was highly recommended by a few locals. Thank you. Upon entering you are warmly welcomed. Service is top notch.Excellent Farm to Table fresh fare. I was very happy with my delicious dressed harvest salad topped with perfect medium rare pan-seared salmon "The chef prefers salmon cooked this way!". Thank you!Options are divided in sections +each prepared very well.Great "Pasture-Raised Grass-Fed" Burgers, Pei Mussels, Short Rib, Pork Loin, Many Veggie options, Flatbreads, Crème Brûlée, Flourless Chocolate Cake...+ a robust selection of micro brew beers and variety of wines, white, red, rosé and bubbly.... To be served the best burger I’ve ever had by the sweetest people in the coziest setting imaginable?! Whoa—it was a great night! My only complaint is that I live two hours away.
