Definitely not open til 12:30. They called last call at 11:30 and then yelled at us to get out and took the drinks out of our hands less than 10 minutes later. Why sell us a drink we can’t finish? We had 2 beers and tipped well. This place sucks.

Lady was very rude. As a woman of color and new to the town I got kicked out of this bar with my friend, a hour later after having a good time she comes to us and tells us to leave. The lady was very rude I do not recommend this place at all.

We showed up at 11:15 p.m. ready to have a drink or two, then leave. A staff member was blocking the door, and when they checked our ID's, she stared at it for several seconds. We have loved our experience in North Adams so far and were excited to show our friend from New York the place. It took several mins to get noticed by the bartender, and our drink order felt rushed. When we went for another round, I couldn't help but feel ignored by both bartenders as they were clearly helping people around me. They were cleaning up quickly (while there were well 15 other patrons still in there drinking,) so we decided to down our drink and head back to our bnb for the evening. As well left, they shut the door and locked it behind us. Literally. We are in our 30s and quite obviously queer. It couldn't help but feel slightly targeted. This seems off character from what we have experienced for the last several days in North Adams. People are kind, friendly, and hospitable. I hope this was just an off night for them, but again, I didn't feel like the best experiences from the getgo.

The drinks were cheap, but the guest were not too nice and I paid good money to play a song and the bartender turned it off. Staff just wanted to hang out with their friends, and they couldn’t wait to get us out of there. Not a good business 0/10. Do not recommend.

we spoke with the manager via facebook a week or two before our wedding in September to coordinate our after party for our wedding that would be ending at 11pm at MASS Moca. their hours listed normally are until midnight - and upon messaging with the manager they said they would stay open for us past that - which was so kind! We were only expecting them to stay until midnight for their normal hours!Well, 11:15 rolled around and I started getting texts from guests that made their way over that the bar was completely closed, so many people went back to their hotels. I was so disappointed there were friends and family I didn’t have the chance to say goodbye to, and one of the most important night of our lives was cut short. We listed the after party in our wedding programs, wedding welcome bags, told our friends to get out cash since it is cash only. Thinking about this still makes my blood boil, as this was over a month ago now and I still feel like such an injustice was done to us.

Gorgeous bar dogs! Cold beer. Loud jukebox, pool table & darts. Good night with good folks.

When entering any regular business, one shouldn’t be rushed by a pack of dogs. I’m a dog lover, but these dogs were barking okay no problem , but the one growling and snapping not okay! My adult children came in a minute or two after me not realizing this was happening, and had an actual service dog with her. Thankfully she was behind my son. So instead of Getting up a woman yells across the place at the guy behind the bar why didn’t he have them put up. She did not get up and he didn’t come around to round them up. No one bothered to collect the dogs. 2 of the dogs were friendly enough sniffing and wagging tail, one had tail tucked under and was growling and chomping it’s teeth. Maybe out of nerves or whatever . While we were not bit, and no physical harm happened, if someone was afraid of dogs or has a service dog I’d be wary of going to this establishment. Unfortunately online sources say it serves foods but doesn’t which is okay. Just would never have gone there for intending to eat dinner if I’d known, really no big deal. The dog thing however was at best off putting. Just be aware of the dog situation and the issues that might come up if you aren’t dog friendly and /or have a service dog. While no laws were broken it was just an unfortunate situation, that could have been avoided.

Comfortable and clean dive bar feeling. It's cash only, so there's a premium if you need to cover your tab with the ATM.

The bartender STEALS your money!!! I’m guessing she assumes that everyone is drunk and doesn’t realize what bills they give… but the ATM in the facility only gives $20 bills… I got ONE beer at $6. Gave her a $20 bill…. She gave me $4 back. When I questioned her- she pulled a $10 out of the drawer - and told me I gave that to her- LIAR!!! This happened twice! How do you argue when someone Decides to pull a random bill out of the drawer and tell you that you gave it to her?! Thieves!!!

Me and my friends came in here after visiting a concert at MassMoCA, we were denied service and had our IDs thrown at us by the bartender… we’re in our 30s and we were sober. It felt very targeted, we are a group of queer and trans people and just wanted to enjoy a drink after visiting the museum.
