my wife had an antipasto salad and it was great by her standards not as critical as mine but she ate all of a large salad to the point she was very full and loved ever bite and now for my 2 cents, I had a veal Parm an American Italian standard if you can not get right close your doors ,it was by far best veal I have had in over 10 years far better than the one i ad on south Broadway Salem nh was not pounded down to papper thin with 3 times to much breading it was instead perfect thickness with the correct amount of breading perfect cook and so tender and the flavor of the veal was supreme in comparison to any I have had except jibbet hill and it was better than any veal I have had in Boston, I am a pain and I know it I have cooked for a long time and I enjoyed my meal so much I can not help but rave , and the agnotti ,pillows of pasta with 4 cheese filling ,just something to dream of ,again the best meal in 10 years cost us 74 with 25% tip worth every penny and we will go back can only hope the cook stays there he is great

My favorite restaurant! I try something different every time and I have loved every dish so far. Make sure to ask what the specials are. Those are also fantastic. They impress me every time and its worth the money. The owner is friendly and welcoming, and it trickles down to the staff. I highly recommend.

From Boston, moved to NA. This is the best food I've had since moving out here. It’s been 10 years. This is our second week in a row. Fresh and delicious. Service very friendly

One word describes Vivachino, Excellent. This is not your typical Italian/American restaurant. The flavors in all their meals is a standout amongst rival Italian restaurants. From drinks to mains you have to give them a shot.

My Husband and I just celebrated our anniversary here last evening (which also happened to be NYE). We had gone here once prior, when it was Bueno Bistro, but this was our first time since it changed ownership to Vivacino. We had a great time!

Our server, Jamie, was outstanding; friendly, attentive, polite, and overall great at his job. The food was very flavorful and just the right portions.

For an appetizer, we had the portabella stuffed mushroom, stuffed with crab and a breadcrumb mixture, which was delicious. We also got an order of garlic bread that was seasoned to perfection and great for dipping!

For our entrees, we had the surf and turf special, which was a lobster risotto, with a 6oz filet (outstanding) and the linguini alfredo with shrimp. Both great meals, hot and freshly prepared.

For drinks, we ordered espresso martinis and strawberry margaritas. Both were made perfectly; and the servers kept up with water throughout the dinner.

We were also given complimentary glasses of champagne at the start of our dinner, which was nice and unexpected. We had a great time and will definitely be returning in the future :)

Ironically, I have been very hesitant about visiting Italian places since moving to Boston. Despite having quite a vibrant Italian food scene, especially towards the North End, most of my visits to Italian establishments have proven to be a disappointment. One would feel like Nona's tired or Nona doesn't want to feed you or Nona doesn't want to have anything to do with you. Obviously, that's not what ANY good Nonas ever do since they want you to have the very best.

So one may ask what's truly going on? Is it the same issue with other cuisines where the food quality is not properly preserved or because there is no standard to uphold anymore? It reminds me of someone who once said to me that those who care deeply about any cuisine have moved on to NYC and other food-centric areas. All that's left are those who send out food to customers who either don't know or don't care. Perhaps, there is some thinly veiled truth to this statement.

I've been acquainted with Chef Nimesh for a few years and know his deep passion for Italian food. In prior locations where he was based, there were always limitations to how much he was allowed to express his art and understanding of the cuisine. So while he was throttled over there, here in Andover after taking over a dying business, I'm able to witness just how good his expression of Italian food is. Every dish I ordered tonight were things I knew he was particularly passionate about. Yes, the whole menu is well designed...but I'm talking about things I knew he would choose to serve in particular until the world ends. Signature dishes on his take of Italian cuisine.

I loved every bite. I truly savored and enjoyed it. So much so that I'm willing to just make the drive up to Andover just for a meal any given day. Mind you, the place is well designed, clean, and upscale. You can thank his business partner, FOH extraordinaire for bringing that side to life. The staff working here are great and the wine selection is immaculate. You will definitely enjoy your visit here.

Absolutely recommend this spot for anyone wanting a great and non-pretentious Italian food experience!

Attentive waitstaff, excellent food & dessert! Sat in a comfortable cozy booth, warm atmosphere, and not too loud so we could enjoy our table conversation.

Went with girlfriends, Tuesday 12.23. We had never been and 1 of our group found the place.
I think we would all consider ourselves foodies, and this place is a knockout ! Just straight up knockout.
Right off the bat you could tell the bread was homemade , then the drinks great.
The food was impeccable, everyone's, everything including dessert.
My dish was a hazelnut butter something or other, never in my life had I something like that ! WOW
Our waitress , I believe Katya also wonderful.
Even a visit at the table from owner, chef not sure but classy touch.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!!
