We visited Burtons in North Andover for a holiday party. I have been to other Burton's locations, and this one was nicely decorated, with pleasant staff. Their menu is very basic, and some items are hit or miss. The best thing on their menu, which is always consistent, is their key lime pie! It is so fluffy and delicious. On this trip, the highlights were the veggie burger and calamari. I just wish they served the calamari with a cocktail or red sauce, and skipped the horseradish. Overall, Burtons is decent when you need to eat somewhere with options for every palette.

I have never been here and have lived in the area all my life. We decided to bring my boyfriend mother here for an early dinner. We all chose a pricey entres, 2 ribeyes and a filet. The only one that came out cooked correctly was my boyfriends. His mother and I, had very undercooked proteins. We wanted medium, it was rare. No biggie, except my filet was already burnt to a crisp on the outside. I received my portion back burnt, even more, with a little more mash, thanks guys! Such a waste of money. Never again. I've never, in my life not finished a filet. I had to cut the middle out of it, to eat the edible parts. Filet hockey puck in pics!
Tried calling when I recieved a response from the manager and couldnt get through to anyone. I tried twice.

My wife and I have been going to burtons North Andover for a few years and it had been our favorite restaurant, before tonight . We booked a 530 reservation, got our table. The waitress took our drink orders and I got a mai tai, which was delicious and my wife got a pomegranate martini, which is usually shaken at table . The waitress did it at bar and brought it to table and spilled on my wife. She took our orders, never suggesting apps or waters, and I ordered shrimp Caesar and my wife ordered salmon on a house salad. A waiter brought her salmon out on a Caesar , and nothing for me. After several minutes, she returned and took it back . Then asked me if I ordered the chicken Caesar, and I told her shrimp. A few minutes later, I got my order and nothing for my wife. We waited several more minutes and left. On way out, we talked to manager and he comped the drinks and apologized. Definitely the worst service we’ve ever had and went home and had frozen pizza. Won’t be going back anytime soon

We had Burton’s cater my Son’s wedding at a hall In No Andover. The food was outstanding and the guests were raving about it. The attention to detail was a great asset to our very successful day. Thank you especially Kimberly Bourque who worked closely with us. Many people didn't know Burton's catered and are so efficient at it. The food was all hot and cooked to perfection. The servers were proffesional and served with grace.

As chains go I feel Burtons is usually pretty decent. However, this North Andover location lacks a professional front house. They rarely pick up their phone. As such I've been unable to place take away orders regularly. I understand their is an online take away service but I, and I imagine others, tend to order take away when commuting. Using an online service while driving is not feasible.
Always quality service at this location. Great food, tons of options for everyone including vegetarians, gluten free and more! Large selection of wines and excellent cocktails as well.
