Pita Thyme has been a part of my life for what feels like forever. I used to eat at their original spot in Boston’s Financial District—back when they first opened. I watched them grow, I watched them fight through the pandemic, close, regroup, and then reopen in North Andover. And I never stopped going.
When the Financial District was still shut down during the pandemic, and the world felt upside down, I would literally drive 35+ minutes just to pick up lunch from their new North Andover location. That’s how good the food is—and that’s how much I respect this family and what they’ve built.
This family puts their heart into everything they do. The food is always fresh, consistent, and made with real care. But it’s the people behind it—the kindness, the warmth, the way they treat customers—that makes Pita Thyme stand out. Even without posting photos this time, I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciate them.
North Andover may be their newer home, but the spirit of that original Boston location is still there. Same great food. Same great people. Same reason I keep coming back after all these years.

One of my favorite go to spots in North Andover. I always get the chicken Shawarma plate over vermeil rice, with two sides of a fatoush & the garlic aïoli. Chefs kiss. Never had a bad experience.

Absolutely amazing! Pita Thyme serves some of the most authentic and flavorful food I’ve ever had. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can really tell they care about quality. The service is unbelievably fast. I got my food in no time! The place itself is spotless and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. My favorite is the chicken kebab mini meal with vermicelli rice. Highly recommend to anyone who loves delicious, authentic Mediterranean/Lebanese food!
This food taste fine but defenetly not chicken shawarma the Lebanese way its more chicken and rice like we use to cook on the stove. And i don't know why its impossible to take fresh chicken from the skewers it's only for decoration. I was carving for a fresh chicken shawarma from the skewers hot and crispy and all what I had is a bunch of cold oily chicken. And I hate it.
Stopped by on the way to apple picking. Fully nourished. Shawarmas were juicy, kebabs were robust. Bought some baklava to take home and hope to be similarly satiated.
