Waited 20 minutes in line, waited 25 minutes at the table to be told they weren't taking orders right now. Heard them telling customers in door when leaving another 20 minutes that were originally waiting behind me .

They sat us down by the restrooms and never came back. We waited about 20-25 minutes and were never handed menus or place settings so we walked out. They seem to be short staffed.

Good food, large portions, diner atmosphere.

I used to go here back in 1998 Friends of the family and the food and atmosphere was amazing then and it still is today!

Can't believe I've been going here for years and never wrote a review! Hands down the best diner I've ever been to! No joke go order the home fries with onions and tell me it's not the best you've ever had!

A&Js has always been consistent, delicious, and welcoming through the years! I live in California now and I can't wait to move back to eat there again!

I ordered a cheeseburger at the great price of $8.99! Waitress asked what I wanted with the cheeseburger. I said french fries. Order was received with a good amount of french fries!! When she gave me the bill I was charged and extra $5.00 for the french fries! When I questioned her, she said it only comes with chips. I said "you should tell people there will be an extra charge for french fries!! I'm going back again and will look menu over more closely! Other than that it's ok!

Service was very slow with 2 servers though there weren't many customers. The food was what I expected, but the wait time was quite long - I thought they forgot us. I was tempted to cancel the order and leave

Great family owned business. I have been here 5 times now and have never been dissapointed, Great portions, great tasting food. The service is above and beyond. Look forward to bringing all my friends to this great place.

Sever hand writing was unreadable I couldn’t tell how much the bill was. She didn’t check on us, no refills even though asked a couple times. Food was pretty good, pancake could have been better.

Family owned and operated breakfast and lunch. Weekly customer, no wait, fast friendly available service, great coffee, and the food always quick, hot, lumberjack portions, as ordered: delicious. Affordable. Best homemade muffins. Family or to meet a friend, the place to go.
A&Js gets better in quality every week we stop in for breakfast. If your favorite is their breakfast sandwich, they always make it to specifications week after week. Their homemade muffins are IMO, the best, and hot off the grill with whipped butter is a treat. The service provided by their three woman team is without exception, the best. My review is of course biased. We eat there once weekly from late spring to late fall and over time, a favorite place becomes “the Best”. I enjoy trying other restaurants, but for the most important meal, without thought, I choose A&Js. I wish I could provide a proper professional review with more specifics, but I see the hard work, and the food, I’ve not enjoyed it more.

Delicious apple pancakes. Very affordable.

Huge portions, delicious food and friendly staff. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the staff (although extremely good) seemed overworked. I think they could really use at least 1 more person in there at all times. And the restaurant itself could really benefit from a little updating.

That being said, if those changes were made then the food would probably not be as affordable or the portions so full.

I will definitely be back for more!

This place is excellent! Family owned and operated. Foodie excellent. The home fries are really good here which is critical for me. Portions are plentiful. The pancakes ARE HUGE! The staff is super friendly. All around great place.

Love it!!! Hidden GEM.. First time visiting and I loved it, going back. Service was excellent, food delicious and worth every penny. Would definitelty recommend!!!!
