We've been here twice, and the ice cream is pretty good. I was glad to see an allergy sheet available this last time I went, as the folks at the counter always seem stumped when I tell them I have a gluten allergy.

The mint ice cream is made with real crushed mint leaves, leaving it with a fresh earthy taste. It may not be to everyone's liking, but if you enjoy real mint and not the artificial stuff, then you have to have some. I love it!
You can also buy pints to take home.

I was curious about this place so I decided to stop by and try it. I was excited to see home made waffle cones and doughnut sundaes on the menu and ordered a waffle cone. It was a dollar extra but they usually fill the whole waffle cone with ice cream so I didn't mind. I noticed the cashier weighing out the ice cream which always feels a little cheap but I get it. Lots of ice cream places lose money on differences in scoop sizes so that's understandable. The ice cream was good but I saw that it was starting to weep through the sides of the cone. As I got down to the half way mark I realized that the waffle cone was filled half way with cake. One small scoop of ice cream on top of a ball of cake for almost $6.50 is deceptive. I get that times are hard but don't lie to people.

My family is happy, but I was disappointed. They all got the 6 oz. cups of ice cream. I chose the 3 oz. cup. There's only a $.25 difference in price between the 3 oz. and 6 oz. cups. They all had full cups of ice cream, the scoops were generous, with the top of their ice cream scoops well above the rim of the cup. Mine, however, had 1/2 the cup empty...the scoop was like a baby scoop. It was worth maybe 5 bites. I expected my cup to be a full cup of ice cream. What are they basing their servings on, filling the cup or eyeballing how much ice cream is scooped? Ice cream was very good. I just don't think my serving was worth $4.75. Everyone in my household is still eating their ice cream. Mine was done before we got home.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with the banana chip/banana chunk flavors! I waited all winter for these flavors to come back! Just got some the other day?

The homemade flavor is top-notch. My favorite flavor was the salted caramel pecan, but there were so many other great flavors it was hard to choose.
