I had the great pleasure of working special event functions (I am a Professional Chef) when this was Aprile's European. The food and service was awesome then. Just yesterday (April 3, 2024) we attended a Mercy meal after services for a lifelong friend. We were in the upper function room on the right. The food and most especially the service was impeccable. We had two very sweet, personable, gorgeous sisters from Colombia. Julio and Maria (I believe I am spelling Julio's name correctly) they were so kind, professional, warm and very welcoming. The food was delicious. I have NO IDEA (again, I am a Chef) what they add to the Caesar salad dressing but it was the best I have ever had. I am allergic to fish, this gave me an "excuse" to load up on Salad, Rice Pilaf and perfectly al dente zucchini and summer squash. My experiences there have always been good and yesterday it was even a step above. Great job by the team at The EstablishmentWheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp from the parking lot. There is also an entrance through the mill. Upon entrance into the dining area, there is a flat service with plenty of seating. If you are attending an event in either upstairs function room, you access the elevator before entering the dining room. Any staff member could guide you. There are also restrooms upstairs so you don't have to go up and down every time you need to use the potty ?

Went here with a group of four on our recent trip to Charleston. Had the seasonal soft shell crab appetizer which was very good. The grouper was enjoyable however I would have preferred a grilled finish rather than sous vide. The walnut brownie dessert was excellent!! It was not very busy despite being a weekend, however we did make reservations. The prices are a little high and overall I would likely try a new restaurant in Charleston rather than returning but do not regret dining here.

Definitely recommend The Establishment! Ryan provided great service friendly and professional. Several menu options for everyone. We ordered Haddock, Steak and Cheese, Bacon Burger and a kids meal pasta they even offered a fruit roll up with the kids meal! We spent around $80. Comfortable fun atmosphere. Can’t wait to go again.

Impressive restaurant for so many reasons, from the food and drinks to their ability to host events; whether reserving for small-to-somewhat large # of people this place provides a well balanced environment that caters to your average Joe playing Keno at the bar or, as previously mentioned, catering to a group, what I found most impressive was the day I had been there the Establishment had hosted a wedding celebration in one area and reserved space for a family mourning a recent loss, topping it off it appeared as though there was still enough space for "walk-ins," and the staff juggled it all as if it was all too easy! Very welcoming and clean indoors and out, last but not least you can't beat the riverview and seldom train passing by (not noisy, certainly more scenic)

Waiter was absent until the end. Didnt bring appitizer plates until asked. Food was not very hot. He didnt ask how we wanted the burger cooked. Asked for Coke and wasn't told they serve Pepsi until we got the bill. Asked for more soda and was not told refills aren't free, was charged which would have been fine except after asking, he went and took another tables order then brought the soda after we were done with our meals. He didn't ask if we wanted coffee or dessert. When asked if refills were free, he didn't have any idea and should have gotten a manager for us to speak to. We paid and left.

Really nice sports bar place. Nice pub menu. Enty of screens.
Sat down in a booth with some friends after a long day only to find a metal screw in the seat had stabbed me. Appears the screw was installed upwards in an apparent effort to surprise guests because what's funnier than poking someone in the rear. I moved slightly over so that I could dine without anything impaling me. Upon delivery of drinks a tray of beer was spilled by waitstaff onto my lap covering me and my jacket in brewed misfortune. A friend of mine also received a tsunami of liquid hops onto his once-dry body. Luckily we were now able to move to a new booth with less pointy threats.After a bloody and sticky battle we were pleased to receive a bill in the full amount with no visit from the manager. Definitely an experience coming here! Excuse me while I start a load of laundry.

Grandmas 80th and with a large party, the fish n chips were amazing, one large piece of haddock done perfectly ??. Loved the fried pickles with the boom boom sauce. Staff and service was amazing, great job from everyone.

The food and vibe here are fantastic every time we come in. I had tatum the most recent time, she was nice and attentive, overall she was great, her tattoos were sick too. I also think his name was mohammed, it was a few months ago sorry, he was fantastic the best server I ever had, I serve too and he was doing great. Every single server has been a 4/5 at least. This place is great and I always take family here when they visit. The spicy chicken sandwich is great.

Well what can you say, for starters it was my father’s 90th birthday we reserved seats for 12. Took waitresses about 20 mins to even acknowledge the table. Now we order drinks appropriately 1/2 hour later she shows up. Order appetizers they took forever to come out and the were warm not hot. Takes our order and it took 45 minutes to come to the table. Now waiters came out carrying trays of food. They did put the plates on the table. They asked who has what and made us take our food off the trays, and btw no sign of our waitresss anywhere. Food was not hot warm. Now every single white family was waited on served properly. But I guess the establishment employees thought black people couldn’t afford being there. My father food was so bad he didn’t eat it. But the waitress did add in their 20% gratuity so now we know that’s another reason we had such bad service. But amazing how I was watching and everyone white got excellent service.

I enjoy it here. I typically get the steak tips or the mixed grill with sauteed spinach and asparagus. Food is always decent, reasonably priced and the staff is friendly.
