Really cool and chill spot. Bring a book, tablet, or laptop and study/work. Coffee is fantastic and everything we've eaten has been great. Staff is always helpful.

Great coffee, great food. The staff is awesome. Bring my work, have a coffee, a salad or sandwich, and listen to music for a bit. Good spot to study.

I asked for my latte to be a little darker (the small one) & they responded “I can charge you for an extra espresso shot” with an attitude. I paid $6+ for a cup of milk plus a tip. Bad service won’t be returning

Always gets my order wrong, I don't understand why very simple changes like adding peanut butter to an acai bowl get completely disregarded and they then put walnuts on my bowl when they weren't requested. Never going back!

Another entitled millennial barista, gave generous gratuity after ordering a coffee she doesn't have the common courtesy to say thank you.
The more and more I go out the more and more I can't stand this younger generation.

Açaí was amazing. Have been looking for a good spot and this did the trick. The base was perfectly frozen and soft and the fruit , granola, and honey were fresh and delicious. Coffee was great as well.

I'm frustrated by this place because their food is so good, but so expensive and both times I went I ordered a cold sandwich and waited over 20 minutes to get it. I can't go here on my breaks from work because no matter what food I get it takes forever. Front staff are kinda rude too, which would be tolerable if the food was reasonably priced and fast- but it's not.

I’ve been here many times , mostly for coffee. Never had any issues. Today I ordered a breakfast sandwich and waited over 30 min! I told cashier I been waiting a while for a sandwich. I was sitting on the counter No one paying attention.

This was my first time going here. I follow them on socials and always see their yummy pictures of their food and coffees, so I had to see for myself what it was all about. The day I went, they had several customers in line and in their seating area, so I was not able to talk a lot of pictures to show how nice it was inside, but it was really nice and well decorated. I'm all about the esthetics that make the visit inviting, and it definitely had that. The associates were pleasant and quick to take my order. The food all looked so good, but I chose a cheese Danish and the limited time iced iced Zebra Latte. It was ready quickly, and it was the best cheese Danish I've actually had. I will definitely be going back again soon to try some of the other items and lattes on their menu. Take a trip to visit them if you haven't yet. You will find lots to love.

Every time I’ve been to Java shack I’ve been greeted with excellent customer service. The baristas go out of their way to help and make sure that customers are satisfied. The food is delicious and the drinks taste amazing every time. The “bad reviews” are just from customers who were rude in the first place and don’t understand that the people working here are people just like everyone else. Java shack is great

Date of Visit: June 9 at 3 PM I had a disappointing experience at Java Shack. When I called to place my order, the woman who answered — Hazel — seemed to have a serious attitude. It felt like she didn’t want to be there, which already set the tone poorly. I ordered a Turkey BLT, and when I picked it up, everything seemed fine at first. However, once I got home and started eating, I was shocked by how inedible the bacon was — it was rock hard and not chewable at all, like it had been sitting around all day. I don’t want to make assumptions, but it genuinely felt like I was given old leftovers. I called back around 3:25 PM to explain the issue and politely asked if they could remake the sandwich — I even offered to bring the original one back. Hazel told me the kitchen closes at 3:30 and said she’d let the manager know to call me the next day. I never received a follow-up call. The lack of care, poor food quality, and bad customer service left me really disappointed. I likely won’t be returning.

They make really good sandwiches here. I only had their coffee once, an
d I remember it being good, but I did that pre-pandemic. Now for some reason they are no longer giving you coffee in a mug or in an espresso cup they only serve it in those stupid to-go containers which is really dumb if you want an espresso shot. So I no longer go there for coffee. But I will go there for a sandwich and they have plenty of drinks to choose from as well if you're not as snobby as I am about how coffee is served.
