First time at the restaurant and was provided a free slice of pizza (some of the best pizza I’ve had in a while). Ordered the 4-way cheesesteak, which was fresh, house made, phenomenal. Incredibly hospitable and personal staff. Will absolutely be back.

David it was a pleasure meeting you & your staff. The steak bomb ? without the salami was delicious not salty and premium quality ingredients especially the meat, very good bread as well. I & my daughter shared it & loved it. Honestly was one of the best I've ever ate & I've tried alot. The ranch wrap was great as well my girlfriend loved it so much she ate the whole thing. I was surprised due to its size it was a big meal. Little man ate ham & cheese and kept saying he loved everything about it I'm not pulling your chain thanks for that again. Your staff and yourself are very welcoming we enjoyed the hospitality. Your store was very clean & well put together with a great menu selection of unseen choices you dont really see around. We will be back for sure. God bless you once again from your friend that thanks you again ?

We've driven by a million times. Finally stopped today. Sooooo pleasantly surprised! A sub is a sub, or so you'd think! Homemade sub roll took it over the top for me! Muah!!

Guys who "answer" the phone don't know how to take an order. If you're too busy to take calls, just say that. Don't leave customers on the phone without a word and then hang up on us when we call back in after a ridiculous amount of time of holding only to get no one to help. Also, an estimated pickup time is a normal thing to ask for in a pizza shop, but I was rudely hung up on before even knowing when to get the food I called in to order would be ready. Just awful small town service things.

Ordered a basic chicken Parm sub. It was dry and I couldn't tell if there was any cheese in there. Ordered a soda with it. Came out to $18.75. I was surprised. Quality was did not justify the high cost. I would not go back and I would not recommend. I am sure there are better and more reasonable options out there. Look at the other reviews if you like.

This is the pizza/takeout place to go when in North Reading. Friendly service, large selection, and reasonably priced. I've been several times and have yet to have a meal I didn't like. Be sure to read the menu. They've got some crazy combination subs that you won't find anywhere else!

Have to admit,I was pleasantly surprised here. "Chicken Bomb" sub was out of this world. My 9 y.o daughter said it was "the best sub she has ever had. We did go back a 2nd time to try their "steak bomb" sub also. I thought it was pretty good, however my daughter took 1 bite&was not impressed.

Love the Hornets Nest. Have lived here nearly 30 years and they never disappoint. Everything is tasty and so close to home.

I would definitely recommend the super beef. ( I get mine with sauce and onion no cheese) Well crafted with a ton of flavor. Service was great and fast. Would recommend and will be back.

Hornets nest is the best pizza I’ve ever had! Love this place! Family owned! Dave the owner is so nice and personable! My son did a pizza review when he was one and a half and it’s still his favorite pizza! He hates it on Sundays when they’re closed! I wish I could post the video of my son devouring his pizza even the crust! Also, the best subs around too not just the pizza!Kid-friendliness: Always very interactive with my son!
