Our food was delicious; the flavors were complex, nuanced, and exciting in all the ways Indian cuisine promises. We arrived before the dinner rush, and were relieved by that fact when we saw the place filling up as we ate our entrées, but we noticed that service quality did not decline for anyone when the restaurant was much busier. The portions were generous so we brought some home. And the management answered our questions about ingredients, cooking techniques, and spice levels with all due consideration. We even like the table lights.

We love Bombay Royale! Warm and capable service; delicious, good quality, and affordable food with a wide selection of classic Indian dishes from spicy to mild and sweet to savory. We have a preschool-aged daughter and the staff is always been very kind. The portions are also filling and generous. We often find ourselves leaving with leftovers. The dining environment, while not fancy, is also comfortable, clean, and pleasantly busy without being too loud. A great place to have a conversation with friends, a date out, a family meal, or to bring a large party. Their lunch buffet is great. And they're only a block off of Main St. with plenty of parking nearby. Please check this spot out. You won't be disappointed.

With lots of vegan choices, it was hard to choose what to eat. The food was hot and delicious and marvelously spiced. The menu was clearly marked for vegans but for gluten free I had to ask the very knowledgeable staff.

Excellent Indian restaurant. Very similar to the best UK standards (which is unusual in the US). Well prepared, nicely presented, and very friendly staff. Generous portions, a little sauce heavy for my own taste but spot on for everyone else in our party. 100% go back next time I'm in N'ton. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was full from 6.00 to 8.30 when we left, so reservations. Busy takeout service.

What can I say? This restaurant is an institution. There is no Indian food like it in the United States. Truly authentic and delicious, extremely reasonable prices, perfect ambiance, and wonderfully hospitable. The staff are very kind, personal, and professional. Whether it be Kerala fish curry, puri bhaji from Mumbai, or tandoori chicken, the food covers a vast array of Indian dishes from many regions of the country, with the dinner and lunch buffet alike being plentifully tasty and fulfilling. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is full of community, with many people, from college students to retirees, coming together to enjoy a feast under its roof. As someone who has a deep appreciation of Indian cuisine, I can honestly say that this is some of the best Indian food you will ever find. There are simply no words to do justice to the experience of eating at Bombay Royale and I could not recommend it more highly.
