With lots of vegan choices, it was hard to choose what to eat. The food was hot and delicious and marvelously spiced. The menu was clearly marked for vegans but for gluten free I had to ask the very knowledgeable staff.

What can I say? This restaurant is an institution. There is no Indian food like it in the United States. Truly authentic and delicious, extremely reasonable prices, perfect ambiance, and wonderfully hospitable. The staff are very kind, personal, and professional. Whether it be Kerala fish curry, puri bhaji from Mumbai, or tandoori chicken, the food covers a vast array of Indian dishes from many regions of the country, with the dinner and lunch buffet alike being plentifully tasty and fulfilling. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is full of community, with many people, from college students to retirees, coming together to enjoy a feast under its roof. As someone who has a deep appreciation of Indian cuisine, I can honestly say that this is some of the best Indian food you will ever find. There are simply no words to do justice to the experience of eating at Bombay Royale and I could not recommend it more highly.

Bombay Royale is the best Lunch in Northampton without question. Always an incredible selection of food and the service is always amazing. Sam is a legend. He has really cultivated a lovely atmosphere for fine casual dining. Deeply appreciative of what they have done for afternoon dining in Northampton.
