With lots of vegan choices, it was hard to choose what to eat. The food was hot and delicious and marvelously spiced. The menu was clearly marked for vegans but for gluten free I had to ask the very knowledgeable staff.
What can I say? This restaurant is an institution. There is no Indian food like it in the United States. Truly authentic and delicious, extremely reasonable prices, perfect ambiance, and wonderfully hospitable. The staff are very kind, personal, and professional. Whether it be Kerala fish curry, puri bhaji from Mumbai, or tandoori chicken, the food covers a vast array of Indian dishes from many regions of the country, with the dinner and lunch buffet alike being plentifully tasty...
Excellent food. Slightly less spicy but understandably so... Though, all layers of spices were coming off well.
Only reason to cut a star is food was cold.
