Great selection of vegan items on the exclusive veg menu. All, and only the, whole wheat breads are the vegan ones. Food was great, but the ambiance is stark, and totally not comfortable. I was chilly. I’m still giving four stars, though bc the effort made w the veg food.

Our food was delicious; the flavors were complex, nuanced, and exciting in all the ways Indian cuisine promises. We arrived before the dinner rush, and were relieved by that fact when we saw the place filling up as we ate our entrées, but we noticed that service quality did not decline for anyone when the restaurant was much busier. The portions were generous so we brought some home. And the management answered our questions about ingredients, cooking techniques, and spice levels...
We love Bombay Royale! Warm and capable service; delicious, good quality, and affordable food with a wide selection of classic Indian dishes from spicy to mild and sweet to savory. We have a preschool-aged daughter and the staff is always been very kind. The portions are also filling and generous. We often find ourselves leaving with leftovers. The dining environment, while not fancy, is also comfortable, clean, and pleasantly busy without being too loud. A great place to have...
