Not impressed by the coffee nor the dark atmosphere. Table was sticky & so was the floor. Surprising, considering the high reviews here.
Wallah the coffee tasted so watered down. Not a fan.
Disappointing, very weak specialty coffee. Paid extra to then “doctor it up” and was surprised not even an apology was offered by staff.
Good coffee.

Small coffee shop with some low soft seating, some bar-style seating, and a couple of high tops outside. Sadly no decaf brewed coffee so I got an Americano and a pastry. It was all fine and bathroom was clean enough.
Parking: Plenty of spots on the street on a weekday morning.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entry but no wheelchair accessible seating except some uncovered tables outside.

Not a fan of CHAOS ( balagan in Hebrew ) nor was I impressed with the owners too cool to be cordial attitude. But everything and everyone deserves a second chance. Returned two more times and find the staff to be delightful but the coffee is consistently excessive watery ie weak which is unfortunate cause intelligentsia sources great beans. Both Pricey and weak coffee. Bummer.
Very cozy place! We tried their Jerusalem sandwich, it was the best thing we tried! We be coming back for sure. Latte was very good too.

Good coffee but unclear why the door should be wide open while running AC
Edit: owner appears to think I felt the place wasn’t cold enough. It was super cold. Do they not get that blasting your AC with the door wide open all day all summer is a totally rotten move in the era of real deadly climate change or is Northampton immune ?
Great coffee shop. Delicious coffee and pastries. Sweet staff too. That always helps when people are nice.

My wife and I are in town (from Birmingham) for graduation at Smith, and the sandwiches, coffee and staff were fabulous!
Best espresso in town! For those who love blonde roasts, go to the Roost. For those who love dark roasts, go to Balagan! The toasted marshmallow flavor is delightful.
I found this wonderful coffee shop with tables outside serving delicious sandwiches and fabulous coffee and treats.
