The food and the atmosphere are both very good, and the staff extremely friendly and attentive. They lean towards a Cajun menu selection, but there are a number of other offerings to choose from as well. They offer a full bar, are handicapped accessible, and their prices are on par with other local eateries. Parking is available on the street and a lot that is right next to them, but it can still be a challenge to find a spot during peak hours.

Great Cajun food in a lovely atmosphere. My favorite is during the summer when Strong Ave is closed and out door dining thrives.

Great atmosphere, excellent food but the best part was our server, Lily. She was genuine, attentive and gave us a spectacular experience. Highly recommend.

Lilli was our server and they were amazing!!!! So polite, patient, and sweet with our chatty group of 9. This was my first time at eastside and I will definitely be back- the cocktails, meals, and dessert were all incredible! I specifically recommend their cheesecake, espresso martini, and steak tip/shrimp meal!

My dad and I ate here last night before a show at Academy Music. Akasia was our server and we loved her. Our food was the best meal we have ever had together in all of our foodie ventures and we wish it was closer so we could go back. The steak tips were cut in house and resembled filet. The scallops were so good we got a second order. The salad was delicate but really great. My dad got the salmon and he is very picky on salmon, but it was incredible and he was delighted we made the choice to go there. I wish the oysters on the half shell were bigger, but the rest made up for it. My dad is in a wheelchair and everyone was super accommodating. Akasia was on point and knew we had a time crunch and accommodated that and also took some nice photos of us together. Great mock-tails and atmosphere was a 10. Hopefully one day soon we can make it back.
Amazing restaurant highly recommended!

This is a nice restaurant and all expected good food. Appetizers were good (potato cakes and cauliflower). We had to ask for soda and water refills. Salads were fine but nothing special. My own wedge salad with shrimp didn’t arrive until the other entrees and it had brown lettuce and blackened shrimp that had gotten cold, even under a heat lamp. Others had lamb rack, pasta, and beef that they liked. The tips and shrimp I was sharing with a friend arrived with scallops and had to be remade. The kitchen did turn it quickly, and timing suggests that this was the dish with gluten contamination. Once entrees were served, our server mostly disappeared, too. When someone has a severe allergy, whether it be hay fever or gluten or latex, there is no excuse for a store exposing a customer to it through carelessness. Even more, it may reflect the overall care in food handling for all diners.
This is a pricey place. You may have a good experience, like some of my group. You may be sick for 2 days, like me. If you have an allergy and are considering eating here, just ask yourself, “Do I feel lucky?”
I will not ever return.

They just rolled out their new menu and we had the blackened tuna appetizer and a round of drinks. It had a delicious mango aioli on it and I thought it was cooked perfectly.
My parents thought it was a bit spicy but do not handle spice well.
I love spice and thought it could have used more.
So it's perfect middle ground seasoning.

Love this place !
The food was cooked to perfection, and the service was above and beyond! I highly recommend this, the first original fusion restaurant in Western Massachusetts.

My wife and I have been dining here annually for 7 years. It’s our go-to fancy dinner date restaurant. That is, because every single time we dine, we enjoy the most delicious meals we have eaten in a while. Haven’t gone out for quite a few months and wanted to celebrate some successes, so we stopped in for our little fancy date. Waitress was kind, but slightly obnoxious given the more upscale vibes in the establishment. But nonetheless very kind. Onto the meal, my wife with the blackened tips and scallops and myself with the pecan crusted cod. The cod was exactly as described, an extremely dry, coated, piece of fish with zero flavor, on a bed of sour tasting sautéed greens, and dry, crispy potatoes reminiscent of some home fries at your local breakfast joint. I asked to add on a side of the cheesy potato cakes, which were listed as an optional side for $2, expecting to pay slightly more than that since I did not swap out either of my sides. The cakes were meh, nothing special and hardly any flavor, but costed $9 and I was not communicated any such price when requesting the side. The blackened tips and scallops were just a whole fail. The tips were burnt, had absolutely no flavor at all, and just left everything to be desired. The scallops also had absolutely no flavor whatsoever and were grossly chewy. This was truly such a complete disappointment and scarred our appetite to come back again.
