I will travel from Boston to go to this bakery several times a year, and it’s worth it every time.

Insanely good sourdough. Perfectly browned, and yet soft and chewy. Seriously how do they do that!?

It's a small bakery that serves the public but isn't centered around the public. It's thriving and surviving in this economy with a bake first mentality. Fabulous. Loved it. The chocolate chip cookies are heavenly. Keep doing what you do.

Excellent service, very friendly. Best bread I have ever had.

Absolutely stellar hidden gem of this area. Real, excellent sourdough and little treats. Nice selection of grains. Egg in a biscuit is to die for.

Tiny customer space, but the best bread ever. Unfortunately, it's mostly gone every time I go! :)

Instead of Hungry Ghost I've always called it "Holy" Ghost because this bakery is a religious experience!

Best bread I’ve ever experienced! I drive an hour every few weeks to stock up my freezer and probably eat it every day. My favorite so far is the Country bread, but all are great Love the cookbook too, very interesting and enjoyable read for anyone who bakes bread.

I have been told by two different people that this bakery adds additional baking soda to the dough so that the owner does not have to come in early. As a result, the bread tastes acidic badly disguised behind whole wheat flour. I truly hope this is false at these prices.

Wonderful sourdough bakery. Great items to purchase, and if you want some of their starter, they will happily give you some for you to take and nurture for your own baking. I also recommend buying their book, The Hungary Ghost Bread Book. Informative and full of recipes.

These people are amazing. saying bread is good is not doing it justice. Worth every penny and the wait if need be. I travel 25 min almost every week to get some. Don't forget to get a cookie or pretzel for ride home!

Always on point. The Country bread is my favorite! Also the vegan cookies (especially chipotle chocolate!) are delicious ?
