Great spot! Friendly service and fantastic food. The bourbon burger was off the charts, so were the fries. Hand cut fries like you would make at home. Also great grilled cheese.
This place truly is a hidden gem. Drinks and food are both amazing but nothing compares to the service! Noreen always greets you with a smile and friendly conversation. After a long day of work it's nice to unwind at a place that makes you feel like family.

I had a catered event here recently and it was as perfect as it could have been. We had a private room upstairs with a private bar, a pool table, and private music. Jon was present at the beginning to make sure things started off well, and the staff were kind and good spirited. The price was also very reasonable when compared with other nearby spaces. I highly recommend considering JJs Tavern if you're looking for a private venue to host a wedding welcome party, family gathering, or other such events.

Had Bourbon BBQ Burger, asked for Med Rare, came out Perfect. Homemade Potato Chips were excellent, our Server was Kerry, Phenomenal.
This is a usual Friday night wind-down from the week spot for my coworkers and I. JJ's Tavern is a casual tavern behind the Florence diner. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Music on most Fridays. Comedy acts. Not a rowdy bat by any means - families and dogs (outside) welcome. Great bar food - haven't had a meal I haven't enjoyed. Recommend the nachos, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders (large strips of white meat in a crispy batter,) burgers, chicken wraps, chili, steak tip salad, loaded tater kegs. It's all good. Good choice of local beers and a full bar.

Poseidon himself must have crested from the waves of the Connecticut, tread on sotted sandals to the backwaters of Florence, and blessed my food with his salty issue.
Also my coleslaw was hot. Not warm. Hot. And contained cranberries.

Ordered mozzarella sticks, a wrap, wings, and two burgers. Mozzarella sticks and wrap were edible, but both burgers were visibly coated in salt to the point of being unedible. Will not be ordering again.

I hosted my husband’s retirement party in the room upstairs. It was perfect for 70 people w/ a pool table and deck. Jon and his staff were attentive to details, hardworking and basically excellent- made planning easy! We had a specialty drink that was delicious as was the food. I highly recommend scheduling your next event here.
