I am so sorry to say that our first trip to Lichter & Levin was a disappointing one. To be fair, I was so excited to have a Jewish Deli in town that it may have made my expectations too high. But, the experience was what it was nonetheless. I do want to say thank you to them for having vegan options though!

These folks are working really hard to bring a decent Jewish deli to Western Mass and it shows. Those being super harsh on them after they’ve only been open a matter of weeks might consider the many challenges they are facing and try them again as in my experience they are improving every day. First, you need to know there's no pastrami corned beef until 11:am. No where online are people made aware of that. We drove down early from Greenfield just for the corned beef. Major disappointment.
The potato knish was plain and soft, lacking that crisp pastry top. The white fish was okay. The begal $$.
I think they import their foods and are not made fresh there.
