As usual, Osaka was a solid experience. Not too busy for a Saturday night, and they had plenty of staff available, and worked as a team. A highlight was the fatty tuna nigiri, which I have had mixed experience with at other places. Buttery, soft and melting. Also a cool roll (I don't usually order rolls) that had all my favorite components in it: tuna, salmon, yellowtail, scallop and avocado. Only downside was that it was on the spicy side. I want my spice from wasabi not jalapeno with sushi. I'll know next time.
Excellent place for Hibachi. Chef was great food was great. No wait, during the week.

The rice was all stuck together and no flavor the shrimp wasn't flavored either or was like eating shrimp cocktail with plain rice

We were unable to dine because the lobby was so chaotic on New Year's Eve that I legit almost passed out - packed like sardines and boiling hot from everyone in their puffy coats. There was no one actively communicating to people where to go to check in for a reservation vs. pick up takeout, no signage or organization of lines. People just kept stuffing themselves into the lobby. It was a fire hazard and a nightmare. It did not matter if you had a reservation. They weren't checking. The staff were completely overwhelmed.
Great restaurant with lots of options. For vegetarians and vegans, they have a good selection of rolls. The hijiki maki and the shitake maki are standouts. Staff are fast and efficient.

From entering the restaurant to a standing room only waiting area for 30 minutes (with a reservation) and constantly overlooked by the Host who seated everyone behind us, to sitting in a cramped room with gas fired hibachi’s with poorly planed emergency fire exits (people sitting in chairs at hibachi inhibiting easy egres,) to waiting 20 minutes for our hibachi chef to show, to the waiter forgetting one of our drinks after 15 minutes of waiting, to a room temperature appetizer, to no way to get the waiter back over and the list goes on! About the only thing good was the food from the hibachi. It was hot. Never again!

This place was SUCH a gem of a find! The downtown was a double win but the quality of the food, the chef, and the experience for ourselves and our kids really a WIN. We look forward to making this our hibachi spot when we pass through this part of Mass. We wish we lived closer to this location.

Had our girls night out Christmas party tonight. There were 5 of us. The young girl had ZERO personality, came across as rude and not very attentive. Our cook was good, but we were in and out in 45 minutes. We all felt like the food was ok, basically we drank salt. We will not go back EVER. We told the staff at the desk, he looked at us like we were from a different planet. We asked for management he had no clue what we were saying. GO TO K’s in WESTFIELD MUCH BETTER!!! Don’t waste time or money here!!

The price is normally way more than what you see in the menu, but their service is perfect. Recommend the experience!

Osaka is fantastic. They took such good care of us for my daughter's birthday. Food was amazing and the service was even better.
I have been here a few times, I have had the hibachi and the sushi. The ambience is wonderful, service was always good, but I just wasn't overly impressed with the food. It was kind of bland every time. For me, it's about the value, if the price was lower I probably would have rated it slightly higher, but you can get better sushi for same or less just up the street.

Regular customer and get the sushi dinners. Today, sushi was delicious BUT smaller size than our last visit. Too bad- really like their sushi but will plan to go find another place as they must feel it’s okay to keep same price and reduce the size.
Sushi and sashimi were amazing! We liked the vegetable gyoza and the shrimp shumai. The restaurant is very popular and was extremely busy. Highly recommend making reservations for busy college weekends.
Great service, great atmosphere. Service was quick and our food was spectacular with big portions.
