This place has been a family favorite since I was a kid. My tastes have changed a lot since then, but there's something on the menu for everyone here. I used to be a picky eater (cheese pizza) and now I'm having a hard time deciding what to eat because it's ALL GREAT! The white goat pizza is a go-to for me and my sister when we're dining together. Eggplant Parmesan is awesome. I could eat my body weight in zucchini fries. This is such a warm, casual atmosphere and the service is really good and friendly. We always feel at home at Roberto's.

Love the PEI mussels and penne. Guiness on tap. Nice staff and pleasant atmosphere. Fairly priced meals.

Went here with a party of 6 the other night. The service was amazing! Prompt, pleasant, and friendly. Food was not good. The bolognese dish had carrots and onions, aware of this while ordered but wasn’t aware the onion and carrots wouldn’t be cooked. Raw carrots and onions. WAY more meat and sauce than pasta. The ratio was not adequate for the dish. Then moving onto the pizza, the pepperoni was burnt yet the green peppers were raw. Crust was so so. Kids pasta and meatballs came with one giant meatball that was very dry. Atmosphere was slightly claustrophobic. Kitchen staff seems to be nothing like the previous reviews. I don’t know if it is a new kitchen staff or what, but after this experience with the food quality in itself I will not be returning. Especially for calling themselves an Italian restaurant.

One of the better Italian restaurants in the area I'll say that it had been quite awhile since I had good pasta but this place lived up to it's reputation... I love it here and plan on returning in the near future...

Love this location they have done nothing but get better since the onset of the pandemic. Zucchini fries are a must!!Update: still a great spot! Went again with my friends and we love it. Appetizers portions are great and we enjoyed ourselves. Pricing is a bit high but that is the norm these days.

Robertos is an authentic and lovely Italian restaurant in Northampton. If you like thin crust pizza you will love theirs. Everything I have had there is spectacular. Give it a try you'll go back like I do!

So unexpectedly Joes was closed. After driving down figured Roberto's would be ok. Boy were wrong. It was pretty bad. Seemed like some discord between the waitress and bartender. Took way too long to pour a beer and glass of wine. The waitress threw the bartender under the bus about the delay. Our appetizer came before our drinks somehow. The app was just ok. Both of us ordered mussels with Diablo sauce. It wasn't good closer to bad. Sauce was minimal and not a lot of flavor. Definitely bland if it's supposedly a Diablo sauce. Quite a few mussels were bad. As in over ripe. It made for a very interesting following morning.

Terrible interior. Outdated and very warm inside. Looks like a trailer. Food is okay, not for the price though. Service was slow and inconsistent. Servers kept forgetting silverware, plates and drinks and would skip over people in our party who were trying to order. I went here only for my grandmother but would never come here myself or recommend. Ive never had a really great experience here.

The marinara was way too sweet. Bad sign for a neighborhood Italian restaurant. Redesign of the inside is nice

Such a gem in our town. Always solidly good food and pleasant service. Dang, it's the best Caesar salad in Northampton. That touch of anchovy in the dressing! Just the right amount of dressing, the ideal amount of shaved parm, and just a few croutons. Perfection.

Nice casual fare, mostly Italian-American. The food is always good. Outdoor seating is available in season. Indoor seating is comfortable. Prices are reasonable. The menu is a little less extensive than in pre-COVID days (we miss the great burgers), but you can hardly fault them for that. The staff is friendly and always attentive. Definitely one of our go-to spots in town.Dietary restrictions: They do a gluten free pizza crust, and are willing to switch up dishes for GF choices. Although they note that the kitchen is small and flour goes everywhere. So it's not a recommended place for those with Celiac.
