My Sister came up from SC and wanted to eat at a restaurant with a private room so we could do presents and such without interrupting other guests, so she booked the private room here.
We showed up and were taken to a table in the main dining area. We said there was a mix-up, as we reserved the private room and the waitress said they were too short staffed to put us in the private room.
The staff was extremely rude and made us feel like we were the problem because we weren’t happy about not receiving the room we booked.
At no point were we called or notified that the room was no longer an option.
After some back and forth, they agreed to move us to the private room, which is literally the same distance from the kitchen as the main dining area. Short staffing played no part here.
The room was cold and they turned the heater on but it did not heat up even by the time we left.
The food itself was okay, but we will never return after that “service” and not even an apology from anyone, just snark remarks.

We all enjoyed our meals. Service was good however our bill was padded. The price for drinks was $2 more than the menu stated. Also, the $40 bottle of wine should have only been $20, since it is half price on Wednesdays. The waiter corrected the bill with an honest apology. We will go back despite the mix up.

Shared payella, very tasty but too salty. America continues to taint food. Service and atmosphere were wonderful.

They’ve gone down hill. Ruined my life day
Thoroughly disappointed
Used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area
I ordered the cioppino
I was strongly misled by the menu as the item description featured salmon in the dish
There was maybe possibly what could’ve been summed up into one small bite of salmon in the entire dish
2 clams
2 mussels
2 shrimp
2 scallops
And what could be described as a small handful of “calamari”
And possibly a little more than a half cup of broth
The food was good(as it almost always is)
was just not worth the 34 dollars and did not match the menu description
On top of it they managed to also somehow overcook the mussels
Thoroughly disappointed as this place isn’t what it used to be and it saddens me to see another one of my local favorites go down hill :(
The dish also had a lot of jalepenos, spinach and onions and peppers
Didn’t get any tomato’s or scallions it seems
All in all it still tasted good, just disappointed
The girl taking my order also had no idea what I was ordering and it took 10 minutes to place an order for one item.
Sincerely a disappointed loyal customer

We went here for our wedding anniversary. The drinks were good, the food was phenomenal, and the service cant be beat! I had the shrimp scampi, and my husband had the short rib papadelle. Cant recommended either one enough. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, the short rib melted in your mouth! We wanted to order the creme brulee trio special, but they were sold out. We had the lemoncello tart instead, with the lemoncello pour. It absolutely blew us away! Very light, and lemony. Not overly sweet. Alexa was our server and bartender, and she did a phenomenal job! Very attentive. Thank you. Alexa, and thank you Spoleto for a wonderful anniversary dinner! 10/10!

pizza is flat-bread pizza. i made the mistake of ordering one. it came cold to the table. i had to get up myself and get the plate inside (we were at the patio) to ask them to reheat it; they burnt the toppings (of a Margherita pizza…). nobody was thrilled with their own choices either…AVOID.

We recently came here for dinner, and it was just ok. Our server was very sweet and nice but perhaps had not been trained very well, she was rather inattentive and we had to ask her to take away empty glasses and plates, etc. the drinks were good, and the food was disappointing- not bad just not that great

I was in a party of three women for dinner this evening. I have been the Spoletos many times before. It was the first time there for my two friends. After tonight, none of us will ever return. We had an older male server. I am unsure of his name. He was rushed and rude all evening. At the end of the dinner, we used a gift card and then split the rest of the bill amongst ourselves. My friend wrote a tip amount on the credit card receipt. This server took the slip, then returned to our table and said “is this really what you’re tipping me??”. In the moment, we were all so stunned, my friend handed him extra cash. Which he then said “that’s better”. As I sit here now, thinking about the experience just had, I am appalled! Our tip is at OUR discretion. There is no mandatory tip amount!! I guarantee he would have never treated a group of men this way. I will never return to your restaurant. He behavior is completely unacceptable.
I’ve been to Spoleto a few times this past year and I’ve always had pleasant experiences but this time was different. The white wine they used for the sangria was different than what they had used during the summer and it didn’t compliment the drink very well. The food portions seemed to be cut in half. Instead of a nice arrangement of tomato slices and mozzarella with five slices of each, there were two slices of each flat on the plate. Hardly any pasta in my chicken parm or in the dishes of my family. And if you put both pieces of tiramisu that my partner and I got together, you would have the full slice that I have been served previously. I always get the pre fixe menu and this is the first time I’ve gotten less than I’ve paid for. Our servers were wonderful but I’m questioning whether the small portions are worth coming back for.

Not remarkable food, but will satisfy hunger. Drinks are above average. We have enjoyed Spoleto best when the weather is nice and we dine al fresco there.
