I have been a regular at The Dirty Truth since they opened. The food is great and the service was great until recently. We stopped by for dinner, saw almost all tables were empty and hoped to sit at one of the many empty picnic tables outside. We were met at the door by a new waiter who told us those are only for parties of 4 or more and that there were only 2 tables we could sit at. I asked if that’s a new policy since we’ve sat there for years with less than 4 people and he just repeated the same line over and over. You would think an empty restaurant would welcome customers to sit where they want. I wonder if this is the same employee that so many other negative reviews have mentioned. It’s a shame as every other employee we have interacted with has been great over the years. We decided to eat elsewhere. I will miss the food but won’t miss the weirdly awful service.
My second time visiting this place and every time I leave with a good taste in my mouth, not only their beers are wonderful but also their treatment of customers. If I come to the United States again, I will surely come back

Just had a great lunch experience here. Came in for just the day and had yummy drinks and awesome service from Stella! They pointed out other good/fun spots to go as well! Best part was the pretzel

We were treated horribly here. We went in after pride and the place was empty. Waiter was rude and slamming things down on our table. We ultimately left without ordering anything because we felt so unwelcome. Waiter actually clapped as we left. Sent a message privately to management and received no response. I’ve never left a bad review in my life but here I am. It was a degrading experience and I’ll never go back.

Stopped in for lunch. The burger was delicious, and the collard greens are some of the best I’ve ever had (and I’m originally from the south). Very attentive service! Try the Aviation… great vibes there… great people

The place died down around 8:30 so they turned up all the house lights at 9pm and the kitchen staff came and stared at us while we finished our drinks and food. It was very uncomfortable. The waitstaff wasn’t subtle about wanting us to leave either. It was confusing because at 845 they had tried to upsell us on more food, dessert, and another round. But then 15 minutes later, while we still have almost full drinks, they started chasing us out. Also, an order of fries is like 10 fries. Be warned.

Some of the best fries in Northampton, fresh hot light and crispy. Had a tasty raddicho salad as well and the cocktail selection was fun and refreshing. Good place for a casual get together or date night.
