I came with a friend for the first time to their January drag show. It was a lot of fun! Love the decor and general vibe, a very accepting place.A sliding scale cover charge (starting at $5) was reasonable and I found the drink prices similar to other Northampton bars. I got a drink called the Love Potion (pictured) and it was delicious! Bartenders were very attentive and I didn't want more than a minute to place a drink order.Some of the other drinks they had on the menu seemed super fun - edible glitter, pop rocks, cotton candy! Can't wait to go back and try some more!

A hometown dive bar "where everyone knows your name" AND it's a gay bar.The Majestic gave me something I'd never thought I'd experience: the hometown bar feel that I felt welcomed at. Locals know each other and excitedly chat before drag shows and even though I was visiting I was greeted warmly and didn't feel like I was intruding.The bartenders are amazing and the gay icon inspired drinks are delicious. They are a reasonable 8 dollars. The cherry on top of this is the mocktails also slap and in a common sense decision, cost less than the cocktails at $6. I personally recommend "The Dolly" though it's so good the sweet tea vodka doesn't show you how strong it actually is.

Majestic is an incredible queer friendly space right in the heart of downtown Northampton. Their quirky AbFab style decor and eclectic style really give Northampton a place to feel right at home in your quirkiness. Their bingo nights are insanely fun and there’s a great sense of community during so many of their events I’ve attended. Kayla, the owner, has been my bartender several times, and is ALWAYS such a beacon of light and laughter. Bob is one of my favorite people to just be silly with. Marisa is a wonderful person and dedicated DJ. I love this place, and with so many of my old haunts like the Elevens and The Basement no longer being open, Majestic is the one place that gives me the fuzzy feelings of love that Northampton has always offered.

My wife and I had our after party from our wedding at Majestic.Kayla (the manager) was not only kind and professional. She was thorough, thoughtful and was a driving force in helping the after party run smoothly.We had drag queen performances. This is truly an after party our friends and family will be talking about, forever!I can’t thank majestic enough! We had the time of our life! As a queer couple, the atmosphere was immaculate. The drinks were amazing, the staff is amazing. I can’t even put into words how special the night was!

The door checker on Saturday, October 28th 2023 should be fired from their job. Treated like a punching bag for whatever that person was going through and I'm never stepping inside your establishment again if I see them at the door when I walk by. Hostility and insults because I couldn't hear them over the music is really sweet ?

I got lucky, my first visit was on a night where they played music from the 2010s.I loved dancing with a bunch of amazing people in the back (meeting on a dance floor is awesome)! Drinks were good and Bartender were friendly.Parking: We parked on Pearl Street.

Awesome queer bar, very welcoming. Most of the drinks are sweet, but very tasty. Olive the Michael variety available. Highly recommend the Judy and the Shania. Drag night is an experience!

I love the staff. On the third Sunday of every month, the Majestic partners with Building Bridges to host a free breakfast for LGBTQ Veterans and their friends and family. For people who don’t drink Kayla always prepares me an excellent mocktail. I love there is a safe place for everyone. I make sure to talk loudly to the barista’s because it does get busy and loud some nights! For those of us needing a break from the over masculine sports bars, I prefer a feminine night out in a space that offers opportunities to make new friends ?

Majestic is the absolute best. I always feel safe going there and love that people from all walks of life can come and enjoy themselves. All of the bartenders are always so nice, very attentive, and work incredibly hard. Majestic provides a community for queer people that has been so needed in Northampton and its surrounding areas. The events that they host are always so much fun (dirty bingo being a personal favorite). My wife and I love it so much there that we decided to rent out the space and host a party there to celebrate our marriage. Kayla was the best person to work with and made us feel so loved - even when we were overwhelmed with wedding planning. She made the process enjoyable and supported us unconditionally. I can't say enough kind words about the Majestic Saloon as it holds such a special place in my heart.

The vibe is alright but a couple of the bartenders are pretty rude. I tried to get a drink repeatedly, and had the bartender literally laugh at me and walk away. As a bartender myself, I'd say it's alright bar service at best.
