Whether you are sitting at the bar or in the dining room, you are always made to feel special at A.J. Tomaiolo’s. The food is excellent, the drinks are perfect, and the wait staff are exceptionally friendly. I always get an Italian dish, and my wife gets an American dish. Both are fantastic! You will never be disappointed. I have been going to A.J. Tomaiolo’s for years and will continue. Simply amazing!

Great little find. Staff are super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and you're not rushed while there. Small but cozy atmosphere with both a dining side and bar area where meals can be ordered in both. Will be back!

Mixed review. Good food but terrible service. My wife and I went for a Valentines dinner. Reservation for 6:30 and seated at 6:40. Not bad so far. Waitress comes by, and takes our drink order. Drinks come out five minutes later. So far so good. Then we give our meal orders, and she asks if we want bread. We said yes, but ten minutes go by and no bread. My wife had to catch her on the way by and ask for our bread. Meals finally come out 35 minutes later. Food was good but you tend to lose interest when service is that slow. If the kitchen is that backed up, a quick update from the waitress would be appreciated. Including dessert, we invested over an hour and fourty five minutes.

Great local option for Italian cuisine.Vegetarian options: A few options for vegetarians. Nothing vegan. Not easily labeled. Sauces have chicken broth.Kid-friendliness: Low key atmosphere. Easy parking for families.
Food was very good had the hunters veal . Wife had chicken parmigiana and the bread was so good I can't stop thinking about it

We have not been to AJs for a number of years after a few bad experiences but decided to give it another try this evening. It was less than half full with plenty of tables available in both the bar area and restaurant. We asked for a seat in the bar area but the hostess told us we could not sit at a table at the edge of the bar area, we had to sit at one in the middle because there were only two of us and she had to keep the 4 person table for larger groups. I would understand if the restaurant was busy but it was less than half full and there were at least 10 empty 4-person tables available. No restaurant has done this before, we walked out.

If you grew up on Italian food, this place will feel like a taste of home. Authentic dishes are perfectly done. Escarole soup is a perfect addition to your meal. My new fav date night spot with my husband! Make sure to make a reservation, popular spot especially on the weekends.

I don’t know why, but it was very uncomfortable.
